M and S Red Rose shocker

St Valentines day massacre!!

a dozen red roses ordered online at M+S weeks ago, following on advice on this fair website....

a dozen fairtrade courier delivered red roses on sunday 14th february.

an email was recieved at 01:28am this morning stating that the item ordered could not be delivered today and i would be contacted to arrange a new delivery date.

i am sure Valentines day is only once a year....

  • the really annoying thing is mrs (we aint married ((YET))) nickduff is about 250 miles away, so i cant even get there to deliver a rose in person!!!

    my valentine was less than impressed!!!

    i thought M+S would be decent......

    I hope that your other half isn't too upset with you, it isn't your fault that this has happened. That is disgusting service from M&S, and I hope that they compensate you appropriately.

    Try ringing interflora this morning as I am sure that there are some florists that could deliver for you today.

    Id cancel the order if I was you. Just had 12 delivered for my lady from M&S and they look like the ASDA ones for £2.

    Thought they were fairtrade ones

    Wasn't fair trade for me

    thats really bad, did they take the money. I ordered some for my wife and got a email friday to say my card hadnt gone through so i entered some new card details and the money was taken. got me worried now.....

  • Hi Nickduff.... sorry about your situation, have you tried looking at yell.com for the area she lives in and find a florist, I am sure most of them will be open this morning, and someone might help you out, I had the same experience from M&S for a Birthday, but the florist side is not run by M&S :mad: its a different entitiy not sure how that works. I went into store and they really didnt care, good luck with getting today, sorted guess thats your priority

    ordered some flowers for mothers day a couple of years ago and they did arrive in time but were really poor quality - I emailed them and they gave me a refund - I know it wont get the flowers there any quicker but I certainly think you are due something for the frustration you have incurred at least - good luck with sorting it out - I know I was really surprised you just dont expect it with M and S
