!!!!!!? you cannot be serious? cost of the washing cycle v a pack of bags
He he - of course I don't wash them seperately - just bung them in when washing other items. Or I can wash in the washing-up bowl when doing the dishes. If I'm in doubt, I'll wipe with a disinfectant cloth and air well.

  • !!!!!!, I hit the "Thanks" button instead of the "Quote" button.

I don't think budgeteer put the dish washer on just to wash the bags, more likely bunged the bag in with the rest of the washing up so it didn't cost any extra.

Thanks for this geordie joe. It's true of course:beer:
  • Wine - but hopefully only temporarily as its upsetting my gall stones which will be coming out hopefully in next 2 months!!
Don't ever buy pre packed stuff and I now only make soup instead of buying tins. Its a fab way of using up odd bits in your fridge/veg rack.
Don't buy Dolmio type jars anymore - use tins tomatoes instead.
  • Joints of lamb: since when did it get so expensive? Paid £7.50 for the tiniest half leg of lamb that will barely go round four people let alone have any left over for a curry.
