i got this.....looks like they want to redo the order by hand!!!
The items you attempted to purchase were in a special Clearance Corner section of our web site. The Clearance Corner area is where we feature any special offers or marked down stock which by nature is of limited availability.
We received an unprecedented volume of orders for these products in a very short space of time and as a result were not able to fulfil a significant number of orders, including your order.
I do apologise for any inconvenience caused. We are hoping to reintroduce the Clearance Corner section once we can cater for the huge demand this area of our site attracts. You may wish to check back with us periodically for similar offers in the future.
I can understand your frustration with the situation as we have been having problems at this end, both with the allocation of stock for the orders and for the email correspondences. Both of these issues are being thoroughly investigated.
We can offer to manually put an order on for you, for the item ordered, if you wish for us to do so. We would need you to confirm and just to provide us with the card's security code.
Kind Regards

Guys, I talked to them.
They made mistakes in the processing of orders. It appears they have processed orders a bit randomly, so those who ordered earlier might have ended up with nothing and those ordering later might have received their orders. The quantities were not the problem, but clearly they had limited stock and could not serve all.
Pity for this crazy management of orders. This has nothing to do with IT equipment. It is just people acting randomly as they had all the timings and dates with the orders, but did not even care about those!0 -
OP posted Thursday 13-07-2006, at 8:01 PM I ordered Thursday 13-07-06, at 8:40pm (a nokia bluetooth headset, two bluetooth dongles, a leather PDA case and a unknown make bluetooth headset) total cost was arounf £17, looks like it was random...or maybe cancelled on people who had ordered certain items which went out of stock quickly.
After the clearance link went down I check all the items I had ordered through the link on the order status page, all items I had ordered still had stock.Welcome, rogerramjet.

its awful that OP didnt get anything
out of curiosity, did the people whose orders got cancelled order the nokia headset, as i never, and mind went through ... thinking as it was the thing advertised on this forum thats why it was most bought, and most cancelled people for :-(0 -
Just got the cancellation e-mail this evening. I'd ordered the Nokia Bluetooth headset, a leather PDA holder, a sheepskin PDA holder, a PDA stylus with built-in light, one pack of large PDA screen protectors and one pack of smaller PDA screen protectors. Would have been a bargain for the £14 odd.
Also received an e-mail from ebuyer cancelling my order for the cheap 1GB Compact Flash card which was apparently mis-priced.
You win some you lose some.
Cheers,

EDIT: Forgot to add - my order was placed at 9:13pm on Thursday0 -

Sorry the OP got nothing.
Mine arrived yesterday after ordering on Friday night.
I didn't have a Nokia headset. Maybe that is the difference.
I was going to order one until I realised that the Bluetooth headset for other products, should pick up my mobile.
So I may have been lucky.

My order was cancelled too.
However has anyone been receiving dodgy worldpay (virus) emails after ordering from this site? i just received this, and it matches my order value......
Hello
My name is Dave and I am from the Support of WorldPay.
We have received the payment order (ID XXXXXX,Receipt Date XX/07/2006)
from you and we need to make a verification of the details you have
filled in, as we have received a notice from your card service stating
that there was a chargeback made by the owner of the card with which you
have made the payment and that your level of authorization has been
altered during your last transaction.
This is a very serious matter. We have deducted the amount of the
chargeback, GBP 149.89, from your account and added our standard fee of
GBP 24.00 as well (you can see your payment details in the attachment).
We have failed to contact you using the telephone number you have
provided earlier, meeting no response.
As a precaution, we have limited access to your account in order to
protect against future unauthorized transactions. Please understand that
this is a security measure intended to help protect you and your
personal information.
Please contact your credit card company to resolve this matter.
Best Regards,
Dave Gollick
