I wrote an email this morning asking what the status 'Awaiting order response' meant on my order and received this reply.

"Thank you for your enquiry.
The items you attempted to purchase were in a special Clearance Corner section of our web site. The Clearance Corner area is where we feature any special offers or marked down stock which by nature is of limited availability. Unfortunately, once this stock is sold, we are not able to restock or resupply it.

We received an unprecedented volume of orders for these products in a very short space of time and as a result were not able to fulfil a significant number of orders, including your order.

I do apologise for any inconvenience caused. We are hoping to reintroduce the Clearance Corner section once we can cater for the huge demand this area of our site attracts. You may wish to check back with us periodically for similar offers in the future.

Strange how emails can be answered so quickly but the order placed last Thursday can't be cancelled with an equally polite email in a similarly timely manner. Also strange how the items I ordered are showing as in stock when I link through my order. Sounds like a good company with a crap IT system.

aye i saw that, but down the bottom it says again whats in the box, which is the light pack and what is really in the box :-(

I don't know what they are playing at. I have been batting emails backwards and forwards this morning. They actually have 6 Nokia Bluetooth headsets in stock - which is plenty to satisfy my order but they say that orders cannot be modified and any remaining stock will be put back in the clearance section in a week or two!!! Duurrr. Unless they sort out their stock management system they will have the same problem again then! Logical thinking seems to have evaded this company.... can't believe the OP missed out on this deal whilst others have gained from it.

hard lines - they cancelled my order; only found out when I rang up this morning - still says awaiting order response!

..didn't get the email they allegedly sent me.
