Anyone having success with the headphones and a computer? I've paired them successfully with my Mac but can't get any audio out of them. All I get is a hiss and what sounds like a disconnection.

    the stereo bluetooth ones?

you can get them connected via bluetooth in mono on the mac i think, but in order to use the stereo function in proper quality it has to be connected via A2DP (Advanced Audio Distrubition Protocol i think)

and heres the bad news, i dont think Macs are compatible with that yet, with their built in bluetooth or dongles.

If you bought the dongle for a quid from the site (think4), you should be able to get that working on windows, but will need to use their drivers, and not the microsoft bluetooth ones (microsoft driveres dont support headset or A2DP either)

either way, you should be able to get dual mono and mic working on the mac i would of thought, so good for skype and stuff, ill try on a mac tommorow and see how i fare

sorry to be the bearer of bad news if it is that :-s

do a google for a2dp and apple mac for more info

OK finally managed to sort it out but I have to say they really aren't up to much, constant hiss and poor quality sound.

woo hoo, well, at least you got them working :-D

fingers crossed the apple will update their bluetooth to incorperate A2DP profile soon so it sounds better :-)

The sound quality is really poor with my Intel iMac so I probably won't have a use for these at this rate. Thanks for the info.

just to prove your not alone

and as people say, think4 did sell for a fiver a bluetooth sync thing, that plugs into the audio port, and connects to your headphones

if they have any in stock when the clearance comes back up could be worth investing (stupid i know)

sorry, i feel bad now, if its any compensation, i made the same mistake with my first a2dp experience, bought an expensive dongle aswell :-(

look on the brightside, if you ebay them, you probably get more than your moneys worth back?

or perhaps you have a phone or will get one that is compatible? so they arnt wasted

thanks tenof26 - especially for the Apple links I hadn't had time to look it up.

I suppose I could use them with a phone but I'd feel a bit of a prat :) Would like to give that adaptor a go but I suspect they're sold out by now. I'll call them tomorrow.

I confess they are surprisingly comforable to wear!
