I have done 2 switch offers, this one with Nationwide and also Halifax.

Does anyone know whether I could use the same 'dormant' account that I used for Halifax with a future Nationwide..? Again, setup a quick SO etc. they would know what they?

No, you can't transfer the same account twice.

That should be fine. So long as you switch an account you have not switched to the Nationwide already and the account is not devoid of direct debits and standing orders you should qualify.

I used the same cahoot account three times to get the £100, £50 and £75 though they only transferred the single (dummy post-dated) annual standing order for the third offer!! I got the money without them transferring anything the first two times.

You might have been lucky. I transferred the same Halifax account twice and it did not work the second time.
