I just remembered what I was going to say yesterday :o

I have been using the Tesco Vit E wipes that cost 27p and they are great!! I bought the scrub today too, for 70something pence..... although it doesn't scrub much, it will be good with the LE muslin cloths, happy days!! :)

    Hi,
(this is a super thread :))

Can anyone recommend a brand of cheaper but effective disposable, wet shave, razors? I used to buy mens gillette mach 3 as i found these lasted longer than any of the ladies blades but they are really expensive c. £6 for 5 blade heads...any tips? I tried to switch to tesco own basic disposable razors and am suffereing with nicks and cuts :(

this sounds like a good tip: "Asda Smart Price conditioner for shaving my legs".

Personally is stopped using cheap brands ages ago, and now use only either Gilette or Wilkinsons Sword disposable razors.
gilette on ebay 15 for £5

Okay these have probably already been mentioned but i'll add them anyway:

Palmers unscented cocoa butter (cheaper than the scented stuff) - £3.59
Palmers concetrated cream (use as a hand cream) £2.99
St Ive's blemish control facial scrub - £4.99
    Carmex lip balm - £2.19
De tunien snail gel - £10 (more than £5 but a little goes a long way and it has AMAZING results)
    2True nail polishes - 3 for £5 - last for a least 5 days with no chips

The top 3 are on offer in Superdrug atm (3 for 2)

    my faves

T-Zone Spot Treatment Stick - £4.19 (but i nabbed loads of them in their old style packaging in Home Bargains and Superdrug for about £1.50 each ). The only thing that zaps my spots away, really nails them!!

Tea tree wipes from BodyCare (3 for 99p) - only face wipes i've ever used that make my face actually feel as clean as a proper wash - very refreshing!
About to buy a stash when i go back to my hometown this weekend as there isn't a BodyCare near me.

Superdrug Tea Tree toner is good, it was better when it was a gel consistency to be honest, now it is watery but it is still quite good.

Trying out the BodyShop's tea tree toner from today, had £3 off so i gt it for 50p! (had to buy other things so the price goes over fiver but a good chance to try a few things out from there!)

Garnier Pure scrub is really good too, costs about £4 ish, switched to Bodyshop Tea Tree scrub over past couple weeks (again i had another £3 off voucher lol) but not that impressed - its just ok

When I'm really skint i used to use distilled witch hazel straight from the bottle but now a bottle is as much as the toner i would buy normally... so i don't bother!

Can i anyone recommend a good moisteriser - have horrible spotty/greasy skin and really struggle to find anything to suit...also a good eye cream i have a tendancy to get dark baggy eyes no matter how much sleep i get!

    Hi all!

Hope I'm not duplicating, but wanted to say that I've just bought a Body Shop Body Brush (link below) - and it's fantastic!

    http://www.thebodyshop.co.uk/_en/_gb/catalog/product.aspx?ParentCatCode=C_BathBody&CatCode=C_BathBody_Accessories&prdcode=28071m

Currently £4.90 in their sale (so at the moment technically sub £5). I bought it after reading up on cellulite and this was one thing that appears to get results. Apparently dry brushing problem areas increases circulation and helps to break up the bonds which cause cellulite. Whether that's true or not is besides the point as after using this brush just once, my legs are soooooooooooooooo soft!! :)

I bought one in the 50% off sale -- how often do you use yours? I admit I'm pretty bad and only do it every other day or every two days, so obviously haven't seen a difference yet.
