Blimey, better move mine then this autumn.
It was tiny and half dead when I brought it 3 years ago, didn't do much till last year, but got quite a bit of growth on it this year.
It's sitting squashed in between my pond and cucumbers, can't grow into the pond and it's not allowed to grow over my Q's so its getting a bigger spot, just not sure where:cool:

    Which direction does yours face?

As I look down the garden towards the shed, that's southwestish. :p
If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.

Ok, I've mown the lawn and tidied up a bit before I go away. After another post on another thread reminded me I haven't planted and swede this year, I've sown some around the edge of the new bed. With some more beetroot and Golden Ball turnips. :D

Well, it says on the packets that it's not too late - I'll either get some or I won't. :p

One last post before I go - having just discovered these eggs on my gooseberry leaf:

Any ideas as to the culprit?

I'm going to take a chance and leave them, as I don't like to kill things without good reason. I'm reasonably sure they won't be sawfly, as they lay near the centre of the plant. I know that whatever it is has laid there because it's a food source, but hopefully it won't be too devastating.

Incidentally, whilst most of the eggs are a sort of gunmetal blue-grey, one in the middle is green. Any idea why? Is there an insect equivalent of a cuckoo? :p

No idea about the eggs but recently you posted a photo of a potato flower. My potatoes are "mystery" varieties - could you tell me the variety of the potato with the white, purple and yellow flower please?

No, but I'd take them off, they will be some sort of moth I would think and they only lay on food sources, ie your bush.

I reckon you've just painted the one green to put us off :rotfl:

    Eggs do change colour though.
