    No they won't rot, they will sit in the ground till you need them, when the weather starts to warm up next year, they will start to resprout.

    That must mean that they are about radish sized :D

    Oh, no, it wasn't on purpose, honest! :D

    I'd say that big one was about 2½-3" across its widest point. Bit difficult to measure now as they're in a stew. :p

    I'll sort out some sort of scale when I dig up the next lot.
