After BT's hike of call charges I am gonna leave them, I have Sky TV and have heard that Talktalk are pretty cheap. I don't really know who to pick - any recommendations?

Personally I wouldn't use either of them for BB.
O2 would be my choice. They will also be offering Home Phone too as of March/April if you really want to leave BT.0 -
Have you checked to see if the cheapest LLU services from Sky, O2 and TalkTalk are available at your exchange? If you haven't, you can find out at www.samknows.com
Do you play online games? If you do, I have heard that latency on Sky can be quite high, so I think that they may not be a good choice (but this doesn't matter at all if you don't play games).0 -
Jem, where did you get the info abour O2 phone service from? This could be of interest to me.:)0

Can anyone confirm the phone service deal too? I'd be moving away from vodafone at home and would be easiest to switch to one company.
thanksa quick google found it

Definately NOT Talk Talk:mad:0

Talk Talk customer service stinks. If you have a query which is not on the script, they'll hang up on you again and again. Not very good for a so-called communications company. I'm walking as soon as my contract's up.......0

i have been with sky for about a year now and with the max option you get unlimited downloads so downloading large files is very quick 700mb in about 15-20 minutes if highly seeded.
i have no problems with latency when gaming either even if the wife is streaming videos. so i would have to say go with sky. £10 a month too with phone tv and broadband package.0 -

TalkTalk and Sky always follow BT, so make sure you not jumping from the frying pan into the fire. At least with BT you can choose your broadband supplier and other call plan suppliers.
If you sign up to Sky or TalkTalk and they follow BT you will be stuck.0
