it isnt that hard..just get some masking tape. I measured approx 6-8inch from the corner of walls and made pencil marks down the wall first,then lined up the tape accordingly,then just slap on the paint! Its great when you peel off the tape and see it!Wow ...Thankyou for all your posts ....Im getting some great ideas , and the photos are great
. Im not sure if I could do a straight line down a wall though with the paint { it would probably be all wobbly if I did it :rotfl:} But it looks fab and I wish I could do mine like that

i have also seen a square done in the middle of a wall and a small framed picture put in the middle of that! havent attempted that yet..TO FINISH LAST, FIRST YOU HAVE TO FINISH....0 -
Thankyou for all your ideas , Im loving reading through them

Does anyone know where I will be able to get the glitter ball from { Preferably at low cost } or something similar as I really like it and think it would add light too . Something similar may also do the job but Ive looked on B& Q , Homebase , Wilkinsons , Amazon , Ebay and a few others and cant seem to find anything like this ???
I just wanted to ask again if anyone knows where I can get the glitter ball light shade from as I have only seen one somewhere on the internet and it was 2OOO, pounds { just a tad over my budget ...lol } ????Ebay Bag A Day Challenge 2012- :staradmin

I'm pretty sure this is the one in the pic - or at least it's very, very similar. It's not £2000, but it's still pretty pricey - just knock a 0 off the end of the figure!

... But will perobably save all year for it , because I really do have my heart set on it
The second link has some more affordable ones that are very nice ..so many to choose from , { I think im getting a intrest for lights now
}
I must admit I nearly fell off my chair when I saw the prices nearer the bottom of the page WHAT ??? I thought only the queen could afford them :rotfl:;)
I am already thinking of a bussiness idea now of making them , who knows I might be able to buy a palace then on the profit

You're very welcome, keys. It's a beautiful light - but yes, the price is a little expensive. I agree with you about some of the lights at the bottom of the page - I nearly fainted when I saw how much!
I've got this one in my dining room and it's absolutely stunning. Gets loads of compliments. It's a bit cheaper, too, especially if you wait until they have a 25% off day. You can't see well from the pic, but there are crystals inserted in the gaps in the design:

We have a feature wall with this wallpaper. http://www.diy.com/diy/jsp/bq/nav.jsp?action=detail&fh_secondid=9375508&fh_view_size=10&fh_location=%2f%2fcatal!!!1%2fen_GB&fh_search=riva&fh_eds=%c3%9f&fh_refview=search&ts=1266166786940&isSearch=true
Then the rest of the walls are painted Dulux Natural Hessian.
The floor is real oak wood and we have cream sofas and a rug with browns and greens. Limestone fireplace with black granite hearth. Chrome light fittings.
Cally I have pm'd you re the wallpaper.0
