What decorating scheme do you have in your Living room ??

Cream walls, with coffee coloured chimney breast and recesses, deep brown leather suite, lime green/cream accessories (rug, curtains,cushions,throws vases,lamps)and an accent colour of plum, in a vase,flowers, and a throw,just dotted around. Solid wood oak flooring, and furniture. I buy flowers to match too:o

Neutral walls and a darker neutral feature wall (i.e. cream on 2 and a mid beigey colour on the feature - actually called, Clay and Mortar) Brown leather sofa and dark wooden flooring. Then I change the colour of the room with the curtains, cushions and rug - so I have a winter and summer room - just rotate the two colours - a rich burgandyish colour for the winter and an airy turqoise for the summer. (the rug stays the same btw as it is brown and beige - I don't have that much cash LOL)

One of my pictures is cheap and cheerful. I have a nice frame with a mount inside and use an offcut of fancy wallpaper as the 'picture'. This can be changed whenever you get bored of it.

I just bought my flat recently and it has deep red walls in the lounge. It really needs painted and re-papered, and I was going to make it cream/light yellow, but have now decided I really like the red. Don't want to rip the paper off just to repaint it all the same colour. Trouble is I've now bought a red couch which doens't go. Now don't know whether to get a different cover for the couch or re-paint...

I did our sitting room orange. Everyone said "orange?????" when I told them!

The room used to have pale blue walls, blue carpet and a cream suite and it felt very cold.

I papered the walls orange, bought brown sofas, oak furniture and flooring and rich red cushions and curtains. The room looks very warm and cosy now. We've got wall lights with dimmers and I put them on low when watching the TV on a night and it's so cosy and comfortable. Had comments from friends and family saying how much they like it.

My E shaped shelf unit and console table with lamp on it are both from ebay! I can recommend the seller containerclearancecompany. They are made of light mango wood and i love them too. Rec selling price of E unit was £400 i think,i got it for £190 if i recall.It was 2 years ago at least.

The floor is real oak wood and we have cream sofas and a rug with browns and greens. Limestone fireplace with black granite hearth. Chrome light fittings.

gorgeous ..love the paper..similar to my bedroom paper but that is purple and black!

I saw it in a show home,it looks fab...also imagine wall papering a full wall and just putting one more strip of paper on the next wall like it curls around and hugs the room.Its great effect. But hard to explain!:idea:

My wall colour is going to be a coastline sandy colour and I am having a red feature wall (fireplace) I would like to do the same you have done with the stripe down where the 2 walls meet. I would like this to be in Red.

Did you do this on just one corner of the room (apart from the turquoise one)?
