Happy Holidays
Hello every one, just thought I would spill the beans on my plans - it might help someone!
I am planning to try for Butlins at Bogner Regis-leaving on a Friday night after work - staying till mid evening on the Sunday, ready for work on Monday. I know I can have the chalet until 10am on Monday though!
I am paying =
9.50 x 4 =£38.00
8.00 x 4 =£32.00
£6.00 x 3 nights = £18 giving a total of £88.00 for the weekend for 4 people
The 9.50 is the Sun price per person
8.00 is for Enttertainment Plus passes
6.00 is for Service charge(cleaner and electric)
There is an extra charge for bed linen, pillows and duvets
But is included if you have dinner, bed and breakfast as an added charge of £10 per person per night. I am taking my own!If winter comes, can spring be far behind?
Spring begins on 21st March.0 -

Thanks for replying kat and deanos. Now that you mention it, when I booked my last holiday at Caister through Sun Holidays as well, I did receive a leaflet offering the chance to extend my stay.
Do you remember how much you ended up paying in the end for the extra 3 or 4 nights?
I paid almost £100 for my holiday for 5 of us, 2 adults, 2 children and 1 infant. That included the Fun Passes, electricity and bed linen. I couldn't be bothered to lug it all in the small boot, together with the double pushchair etc!
We totally enjoyed it, and my children didn't want to leave.
This extending holiday thing only allows you to stay longer, not arrive earlier, doesn't it? That might be a problem for us, as we can only go during the school half-term in Oct.0 -

Are their ferry prices a good deal?
(ps very kind Paulina)
We have just come back from a site in France..We went the 30th of June for the weekend with the sun hols...It was steaming hot too...We stayed at a site 20 mins from disney...Great site if your going to Disneyland. Not much else there if your not doing Disney though...Bargain weekend break for us....0 -
Hi pudding, was it the same as booking for the UK? I was wondering about trying for 4days & then 3 days somewhere in southern France.
Did you book your own ferry or use the Sun's offer?0 -
Went to Newquay last year it was ok but we had to pay extra to use the swimmng pool!!!
We did not use the club etc. If you don't intend to use the club then don't pay the membership fee. We were only told when we left that we didn't need to pay £3.50 per adult if we were not using the club.
The pool would have still been extra.

Hi,
Yes it was the same as booking for the UK...We filled in the form..I only put 2 dates on though and 2 campsites in france. When we first did it for Holland we didn't get any holiday but only wanted one date.We paid for the ferry using tesco vouchers so we only paid a total of £60 for 4 days in france. If you need any more help just ask!0 -

Depends on where you go, all haven sites include pool, activities and access to the club and entertainment with the fee and nothing extra to pay, of course you dont need to get the passes if you dont require them and even tho the min booking is for 4 people you only have to buy the exact number you need eg. 20 -
Soes anyone know if there was a code in yesterdays News of the World? I bought the Sun on Saturday to get the first code/token but forgot to buy a paper yesterday! I have received the early booking form from the Sun so only need 6 tokens but wondered if I had missed yesterdays!
