Just been looking at the Sun Hols for anyone wanting to go to Disney and not drive..International-Maison-Laffitte which has just been added has a train station 1km away so if you don't want to drive you can get the train..It's at the other end of Disney though..It has no pool..Don't know much about the site but Euocamp website has more details..

I don't understand why I didnt get a priority booking form this year. I usually get one every year as I have been going on sun holidays since it started

Anyway, I've picked my choice of destinations from the list and my choice of dates today. Fingers crossed I'll get what I want.

Please can someone who has possession of the priority booking form tell me whether there is mention of available dates at the end of August as the form in the newspaper lists dates starting 11 September I believe ??
If there are dates in August on the form and you are unable to use it then please PM me. It goes without saying that I will recompense you.

Just had a look on the Haven site and it may be cheaper going direct without the Sun , example...

15th Sept 3 night Weekend Primrose Valley...

2 Bedroom (sleeps 6) Chalet £100 inc ent passes
3 Bedroom (sleeps 8) Chalet £120 inc ent passes

The cost of going through the Sun would be £114 and £147 for full occupancy it depends on what size family you have but do have a look as those are normal prices and will get reduced even more nearer the time.

Unfortunately it's not as simple as that. They send out two types of priority booking.

The first one (which I got last time) gives you a reference number which allows you to book online once you have all the passwords. So no tokens to collect, no posting and no waiting to see which choice you get granted as you book your choice and pay online immediately.

The other (which I got this time) has nothing for online booking but just allows you to send off with 1 less token - thereby getting yours there quicker than newspaper applications.

The last time the offer was on (April) there was a large thread with discussions about the priority online bookings and some MSEers called up and asked. They were told it was only selected customers, they could not be granted one as loyal customers, but that it'd be different customers selected next time so they might be lucky. I got it last time so suspected I wouldn't this time, and was right (unfortunately!). :rolleyes:
