Thanks to all those who posted the codes. :T Just booked our 1st choice and date - we're going to Church Farm which is right next to Pagham harbour which suits us as all 4 of us are birdwatchers.:j Hopefully the site'll be less miserable than the Pontins we stayed in in Hemsby (but the birding was good there, and we went to Minsmere en route both ways so I'm sure you'll have a great time smallblueplanet!) Will have to fight to not pay for the ents passes as they are £8 each and we won't use them. So it should be £38+£15 service charge, and looking at the site pages hopefully we'll be able to take the doggy along, £20 extra I think, but that's less than putting her in kennels. So should be a fairly cheap weekend and we didn't even have to buy the sun. :money:
:shhh: There's somewhere you can go and get books to read... for free!
:coffee: Rediscover your local library! _party_

Really looking forward to Minsmere - particularly the tea & cakes! ;)

We've been on quite a few Sun hols and have never paid or been asked to pay for 'entertainment' - not for us, thanks!

  • Hi

I've just got a couple of quick questions - what standard accommodation is the sun offer based on? is it the economy standard? If so it looks like I might be best to book with Haven direct.

Also, does anyone know if the double room of a caravan would accommodate a standard size travel cot if I took my own?

Finally, I'm only getting round to sorting my form out now... do you think it's probably too late to hope for my first choice now?

    Many thanks ;)

Its mainly the economy standard but if they get full they will upgrade you for free but its not guaranteed, we got put in a Gold caravan at Hopton last year right on the seafront it was brilliant :)

You can get a travel cot in a bedroom but would have to put one of the single beds on top of the other one, i dont think you would get in the room with the double bed in it would be quite tight depends on how the wardrobes are you might be able to push the bed to one side.

In my experience, the design of the bedrooms varies so much from van to van it would be impossible to say definatly 'yes'. Not all twin bedded rooms have beds which will lift off the floor either :(
Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.
  • As a new person interested in the Sun Holidays, does anyone know the sites
where they allow taking along a small dog, who is well housetrained.?
Sites preferably in the north east of England or Scotland.
