As a general rule I try to pick parks with caravan accomodation ,as we went in a chalet once and it was horrible, in a Pontins complex, the decor was still 1950's and the place stunk foisty and horrible.
I have to say cardtart that I agree we went a few years back to a Pontins site in rhyl and we left a night earlier as it was horrible and the site was no where near Haven standards. Now I always choose Haven or we might try butlins this time as we now have the 3 children instead of the one. Has anyone been to butlins skegness is it really as good as it looks in the brochure?:smileyhea:heart: Mrs Lea Nov 5th '11

If its a Haven site you are intrested in you can ring Haven direct and not bother with the tokens

Haven charge £10 for linen + £10 refundable deposit
You can also upgrade to a Luxury (£1.50 pppn) , Luxury Plus ( £3 pppn) or Super Luxury caravan (£5pppn) min charge of 4 persons per night.
They good thing with Haven is you can add 2 of the Sun holidays to make a full 7 night holiday, you do this when you get your conformation through.
I can recomend the following Haven sites.......
Devon Cliffs, Hopton, Wild Duck, Primrose Valley0 -
Is there a link so that we can 'have a look' - where are you getting all this info from??!!0

No links im looking at the leaflet from the last one i took0

Not been on one of these for a while now but for a few years when money was very tight we used to go twice a year on them.
I would recommend a park at Wemyss Bay in Scotland, it has lovely views and is not far from Glasgow, Loch Lomond or you can take a ferry across to one of the isles (can't remember which one).
Also once went to a really nice small park at Bethesda in North Wales. You can usually get the names of all the parks on the Sun website, then you can check them out online. I used to get the Hoseseasons brochure as a lot of them were featured in there.
Generally I would always choose one that isn't Butlins or Pontins, and like the other posters, would always choose a caravan over a chalet.
There are extras but it still works out very good value.Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you0 -

Hi Deano
I have a priority booking form, where it says to book online I'll need my Sun reference number (got it) and six different code words - one printed each day at the bottom of the tokens in the newspaper, starting today.
