no sorry havent bought a paper
  • Oh. :(

I'd pop down the local newsagents and read one but we're six miles away!
  • Hi,

The code word printed on the token today is 'COOL'.

From what I've read, this will only help if you have been sent a mailing about it. The rest of us will have to collect the tokens.

    Paulina.
  • Has anyone been on any of the European Sun hols? Was thinking about trying one of the French sites?

Are their ferry prices a good deal?

    (ps very kind Paulina)

Just a reminder that the £9.50 Sun holidays start again today for those of you who are interested. I've been on about 10 of these holidays and intend to collect tokens for this one too. So if anyone's got any queries about them I'll do my best.

Devon Cliffs (Haven) at Exmouth was fab, great swimming pool for the kids, lovely spa for pampering, own beach, nice walk over the cliffs to Exmouth, different bars and entertainment areas depending on what you like, would highly recommend it!

If its a Haven site you are intrested in you can ring Haven direct and not bother with the tokens :)

Haven charge £10 for linen + £10 refundable deposit

You can also upgrade to a Luxury (£1.50 pppn) , Luxury Plus ( £3 pppn) or Super Luxury caravan (£5pppn) min charge of 4 persons per night.

They good thing with Haven is you can add 2 of the Sun holidays to make a full 7 night holiday, you do this when you get your conformation through.

I can recomend the following Haven sites.......

Devon Cliffs, Hopton, Wild Duck, Primrose Valley

Stayed at Haven Weymouth, said I prefered to use my own linen, took my own duvet cover, sheet and pillow slips, used their duvet and pillows, no problem.
They also gave us a free upgrade.

Hi I just thought I'd post that I had a leaflet from The Sun telling me the £9.50 holidays were going to be back this week.Starting on Sat 15th there will be tokens to collect and post or you can enter the different code words to book on line. The £9.50 holidays are for Sept, Oct and Nov, or book for March/April 2007. There is also a chance to book a £15 holiday, dates-Aug 28 & Sept 4 (4nights) Sept 1(3 nights) this would save quite a bit for families with children as the cheapest caravan holiday I can find in school holidays is about £200. Hope this helps anyone. Thanks

I've just checked the info on the sun's website, but it doesn't mention the dates in Aug. I would love to book a 7 night holiday at Devon cliffs as I live in Kent, and a 3-day holiday just isn't worth the long journey!

If you are sure about the dates in Aug, it might be worth doing what someone suggested, ie book 3 or 4 nights, then extend it upon confirmation! Trouble is, if it's already all booked up, I might be stuck somewhere far away with only 3 nights accommodation!

Definetley says on my leaflet 4 night break starting 28th aug (bank hol) but this is for £15 per person. Perhaps these dates left over from previous and only offered to us previous bookers? I don't know. About extending your holiday I have never done this so not sure how it works.
