Thanks LP, it cost even more because the cake collapsed and I got a bit stressed and we had to start again and hubby had to help. Was ok in the end tho I never did the glass (which was going to be melted sugar somehow)... The starting again cost more, hence I have completely lost count of how much this weekend cost and don't especially want to know so will not look it up. Mortgage payment comes out in the morning so at least we in effect make a payment, plus one of my ebay people have paid £18.50, but not the laptop buyer. Not sure how much paypal withdrawal is so wanted to withdraw both at the same time.

Anyway party went fine, the playcentres sound good, at the moment, our daughter doesn't really have any baby friends :( we lost touch with them when I went back to work but going to get her booked for preschool tomorrow so next year she might have a I guess. Going out for dinner tomorrow on nectar points for her actual birthday so no more spending at least.

That looks amazing. I had the party at home for my DD but she was 9 and the girls almost looked after themselves, which was fab, they just danced and sang :) Oh and I bought a shop made cake :o I was going to try and make a guinea pig shape cake but didnt want the kids going home with a horrible tasting cake!

    Boys are a lot harder!

It'll make u laugh to know no one went home with cake. To support the cake we smashed it all into the tin so it was hard and made the house out of rice crispies, the normal cake just collapsed, I used the excuse that she had to blow out the candles again tomorrow, next year I will attempt to make edible cake!! I might try it later as it strictly speaking is edible but I couldn't give it to guests :)
Thank you, I shall look forward to the challenge ahead! A guinea pig cake is a fun idea!
Yeah she likes Timmy time, next year Peppa Pig!

My payment has come off so our balance is now £77961.70!! it won't let me take off the 1.70 I have no idea why, it usually lets me take off small amounts grrrr I will try again later :( This meant we paid £99.21 interest this month (£3.20 a day) and our payment off was £358.30. So daily interest still reduced a bit (4p) despite the lack of big over payment, so I'm happy. Will update when I can round this number off!

We paid off the £1.70, I phoned the bank and apparently my cheque hadn't cleared so now I'll probably get charged, luckily my work will cover any charges as they haven't been paying us by dd lately.

I am doing a food diary survey at the moment for the next 3 days.

My laptop that sold on ebay hasn't been paid for :( which is rather annoying, I've opened a dispute, I hope I get a second chance offer accepted or I shall have to wait for another free listing day...

Had a good weekly shop of £32 today but my shopping scanner won't work so i'm a bit annoyed, i'v left my shopping out to scan it but the power cable became disconnected and now i cant get it to work again. hope it works tomorrow but will be too late to scan then...

Spent loads today, we need to stop spending now, we've got alot of xmas sorted now but i bought some clothes (haven't really bought anything for a couple of years) but i guess i feel bad as i prob wouldn't of done it if it wasn't for the credit card. Once we've sorted out our car insurance we will stop using it and start paying it off.

Relisting something on ebay but can't list my computer as had to start up a non-payment dispute, 'yawn' why bid if you don't want it? Anyway those paypal fees sting don't they they're like 1/3.

I did a global survey, the points are really good but it involved doing a food diary it has been a bit full on so I'm glad its nearly over, will be looking forward to getting some vouchers or whatever it is, I haven't had anything from them yet.

Hope you get the laptop sorted, there really are some timewasters on ebay!

We have spent a fortune this month too and honestly don't know how we will survive till payday! I have actually been quite out of control!

Wow, 28 months left Jo, that really is a massive achievement.
    June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!

28 months left....gosh that is amazing!!! well done!
I hear what you say about it being easier to spend on credit cards ..... sometimes I try and leave mine at home otherwise I get tempted by the idea of money that isnt actually mine... (doesnt always work tho and hasnt been working that well lately! :rotfl:)
