Just worked out now 1630 behind so closing in. Hubby has received a cheque for the accident, we have to install a new radiator and there should be change so he said he might add a bit to the mortgage :)
Our stairs are finished now, might upload a picture at some stage, feel like we have got quite a bit done (still not finshed bathroom ceiling tho)...

Well the quidco money is in the transferring process so fingers crossed it is here tomorrow so I can overpay a bit more. So looking forward to payday now so we can go under 80k.
Another heavy weekend ahead. Looking forward to halloween weekend as its our daughters second birthday (1st) and we have a long weekend.

Plans for the weekend would be to 1) do the prep work for the new radiator (can't put heating on at the mo), 2) do the bathroom ceiling 3) finish the perspex in the shower. If these all get done I will be over the moon! It is probably a tall ask though. Halloween weekend will have a good clean up though as people will come round so I will be happy when that is done, its so nice when its clean :)

Unfortunately one of my chickens died this week and I was obviously more attached than I thought, hubby has to bury her tonight :(

We had to get house insurance, didnt work out better with a quidco company so went with tescos should get some clubcard points at least! Will now have about £9, which is £36 in prezzos so we are going to go there for our anniversary in december :)

Apart from that not much to say, will update when the quidco money comes through and we get our food shop.

ps naughty confession- we had a chinese last night:)

heres a pic of the stairs after putting the glass in (unfortunately a bit has a tiny chip grrrrr), least once the radiator is in we can finish painting the hall :)

Right! Hubby did the food shop yesterday and managed a £33 shop, he seemed to get lots of extras too, how did he do it??

We had a bit of a spend on friday night. Hubby needs to finish his qualification and his laptop is rubbish so hes bought a program to work on our desktop mac. Instead of using my vouchers to get the dongle thing we want I bought this. In return he has bought me a new photoshop program to go on the desktop mac. I have two old mac laptops which will no longer work with this program (I have the old photoshop) and on looking on ebay these seem to be still worth some money. I have decided I will try and sell these laptops on the next free listing day, though this will be false economy to some degree as I shall want to replace them with a new mac laptop...but I might just have to wait for that!! Either way its decluttering plus we both use the computer alot so a second computer is handy, my 'non essential' computer stuff will be less important than hubbys work so I presumed I will be ejected from the computer hence, I need to make the effort to replace the laptops. It will be great tho as I love making dvds from our videocamera of our daughter and currently I can only do it on the big computer as the laptops are too old, so when we have new laptops I'll be able to do it when I'm quiet at work etc, instead of waiting til I get home :)

We have both worked extra hard this month and should end up with a little more in our paypackets, so I really am very excited for payday now, the 29th....just 12 days away! Hubby said he will have £20 over that I can pay off the mortgage too. I think we can catch up a bit earlier now.

Next step with the building will be doing the groundbeams, the plan for this will be once our credit card is paid to get a new interest free one and start the whole system again, unfortunately our dog has started to dig around a couple of them so the garden is really getting in more of a mess and they are walking mess in! Looking forward to my big cleaning weekend.

Hubby got the radiator up, I have to dig a hole in the wall for the pipes and paint the wall. I might try and paint the ceiling too in the bathroom. I am feeling tired tho but once its done its done.

Will update again with next overpayment :)

I nearly got another two last week, but managed to not do so...cats are like glue :) I must try and stick at 7!

Wel...signature updated, hubby gave me a tenner, I like the round numbers, he likes going 'just below', not one to turn down the extra £5 tho...

Just noticed I've got another £10 voucher from the shopping scanning! Will order it tonight :)
