Food shop!- £36, thats our tescos vouchers gone now and we never managed a 20-something shop, grrrrr. Back to asda next week. I did end up buying extras again...probably £10 worth so it would of been ok. Its the clothes section that get me...
Gonna stick some things on ebay again today hopefully will get a mini profit.
Got some of our plants up- plannned two per tub but the roots were too big so now need to get some more tubs, entry into garden centres is dangerous with a credit card. Also might visit mothercare/ early learning, will see...
I am very slightly kitten broody, I will ensure this is nipped in the bud now, it might be to do with my friend getting a cute new kitten called Alan and seeing a burmese cat lately. I have looked at some pictures this morning and that should help get rid of the feelings. Perhaps I will eat my dinner tonight with the cats in the room instead of out, I'm sure the attack on my dinner will put me off!
Finally, the takeaway guy decided this week that anyone about him in the fantasy football league got free pizza, and we had two teams above him so we got 2 large free pizzas last night!! fantastic madness!! He has also set up a challenge to 'create a new pizza' if he likes it hes going to use it and the one he chooses will get 10 free pizzas!!
Well my pay never went into my account and I got a cheque instead so glad this month is not an overpayment month or I undoubtedly would have calculated the daily interest incurred! The good thing is it reduces the temptation for me to transfer it, but a little annoying anyway. My husband got paid mopre than me for the first time this month and has not stopped mentioning it!! I used to earn lots more which to me makes me feel a bit rubbish that I have failed to financially progress (we are both in the same jobs as when we met). Nothing much more I can say about that at the mo...!
Will see what ebay brings!Mortgage November 2003 was £135k, but thanks to this website on 28/08/12 we became MORTGAGE FREE!
Now just over 2 years we have taken on the challenge again! )(starting £237k Nov 2014) Current mortgage £232,399.82, current overpayment total £1550, years remaining= 170 -

hey jo
well done on the pizzas!! dont knock free food Id say!
looks like you are still forging ahead on the MF journey- well done! I must compare asda/tesco at some point..I know everyone says asda is cheaper, Ive not done a whole month shopping there to find out yet as its an extra 20min (at least) drive than tescos... lazy really!hope your little one enjoyed her dress btw

Hi tyo! I guess it depends what u buy! Tescos and Sainsburys near us are big super stores and so 'more dangerous' the asda store isnt as good! What we buy is cheaper at asda and as theres no loyalty scheme, it seems absconding from tesco and sainsburys does seem to generate rather generous vouchers if you hold out long enough!
We did spend more in elc after all and have today received a 20% off everything voucher for our daughters birthday grrrrrrr, we could of saved....not going there!!
I am baby broody again now, everyone is pregnant, I hope the SMP terms change when they do that meeting next month or whenever it is...
Wel, we have our foundation money in our accounts! I put in £1500 (roughly) from my salary and hubby £2500 (roughly) with our £2k already in there, so we are ready for next week! yikes. I have been naughty and scraped £7 together to change the annoying 82197 figure to 82190 (which is still annoying but less so). I would like to set the target for this month to get to 81700. 360 will come off roughly as our normal payment and I will put the 80 CB in there also so would love to try and scrape another 50 in to round it down, this will be highly dependant of course on the foundations not going over budget!
From the first of November we are on catch up to make green for the december update hopefully.
Hubby is going to receive £330 for a car accident he was involved in, this will go towards finishing our hall, the radiator will be replaced and the pipes put into the wall. Currently they run close to the floor and they are covered in dog hair and I just cannot make it clean! The radiator will be new (ebay) and higher so it should be so much cleaner, I think it will make a huge difference.
Might look at doing this cashback thing for the credit checking?? I am still owed £95 from sky, hoping it will come this month.
Never did finish the bathroom ceiling this weekend, doubt it will happen this weekend, I hope it happens the one after I would be sooooo happy!
Wow will be starting birthday preparations for our daughter soon, that will hike the food bill a bit, I can't wait to make her cake. I love the winter I have the majority of my annual leave coming in the next few months as well.
Right friday is mortgage out day! will update then, the extra overpayments will be mid month as will have to ensure we don't need the money first!Mortgage November 2003 was £135k, but thanks to this website on 28/08/12 we became MORTGAGE FREE!

I am going to make a Timmy Time cake, I have some toy figures I will use and I am going to make the barn...wish me luck!
Rightio the lack of overpayment is starting to hurt! Normal payment came out today, £360 off capital, total £97.27 interest and that is £3.24 daily, went just over the pound so thanks to my water bill being cheaper this month (?) I have slipped in a just under £10 over payment so my total is £81820, the 20 is irritating me already! The 6k is still sitting in our joint account, still hope to get another 120 this month but that will be about it, roll on next month as we will use the interest free credit card for our expenses and start to catch up on the mortgage... want to try and pay 3080 off the balance next month...
Have to have some cream crackers for lunch today as I have some flora to 'sample' also received some shower gel thru the post!! It all helpsMy friend is interested in some of this survey lark so I might get some referral points!
I have entered a competition to win some princess treats and an ipad, wish me luck, haha in my dreams!
Foundations are set for next week, fingers crossed that means by the end of next week we will know if there is anything remaining from the 6k, hubby will want to pay the credit card min payment with this, the rest I will try and convince him should go on the mortgage.
Back to asda tomorrow fingers crossedIcan start up the bargainacious shops againMortgage November 2003 was £135k, but thanks to this website on 28/08/12 we became MORTGAGE FREE!
