A scheme is afoot! Love it!
Gave up on valued opinions and such a while ago for reasons I can't properly remember. I think I may have been spoiled by one that gave out £75 for a single 50 minute survey. If anyone asks, I'm a G.P. and perfectly qualified to discuss the pros and cons of new drug regimens...
I want to give up too but I have to get my money first haha or I've done it for nothing!
Where is that survey when I need it?
OOh are u a G.P? Do u like doing it? I am also of a 'medical nature' and super keen to escape I started slightly later tho at 32
The scheme has been approved by the husband haha so will reveal all when all the wrinkles are ironed out....Mortgage November 2003 was £135k, but thanks to this website on 28/08/12 we became MORTGAGE FREE!

Hi,
Just popping in to let you know I have caught up with your diary. My aims are similar to yours, have a DD aged almost 2 and I'd quite like for DH and I to be able to slow down workwise to have a better family life once MF. Will be subscribing to your diary.

Hey good luck Cath! This is it, its almost like buying more time with your family in the long run
Right weekly shop, £32.11 Asda, tescos vouchers have a break and restart next week, after that I'm hoping for 3 consecutive weeks of a 20something weekly shop.
Slight treat tho, today out for lunch with friends (very rare event) hoping to use a 20% voucher I have to make it easier to justify. Hubby has had to order a pizza to make up for being left at home £5 delivered, but hes going to do some overtime so that should pay for it in its self!!Mortgage November 2003 was £135k, but thanks to this website on 28/08/12 we became MORTGAGE FREE!

Rightio! The credit card has arrived... I feel myself getting twitchier already so suspect it will be worse towards the end of the month when I know I cannot make my overpayment arghhh
The plan is to be able to give the piling guy £5800 on the 4th of October, I will write out the plan later so I can trace where all of this is coming from!!
The second plan is managing to catch up so we are in green for the 12th december!!
I am secretly extra frustrated that I would of gone under 80k this month....I do feel some consolation though that our normal payment will take us under 82k so at least I can have a new number on our board in the kitchen haha..only thing is will I be able to resist the temptation to round it off? Living with the 197 has been frustrating!!!Mortgage November 2003 was £135k, but thanks to this website on 28/08/12 we became MORTGAGE FREE!

Food shop today!
Managed to spend £42 thanks to our tesco voucher, I did buy our daughter a cuddly pony which she seemed to really like and it has since been sneaked away to go towards a birthday present otherwise the shop would have been a wonderful £32! Got a few yummy snacks as hubby seemed a bit hungry haha so hopefully that will please him this week.
The credit card has been used for the first time so all our 'savings' and living money for the rest of the month is now in the joint account for our foundations, so far that totals £2008 (including the money from my nan).
We have a note book now and every credit card spend will go down in here so we can ensure our spending is incontrol.
I can start shopping for our daughters birthday now, so far I have spent £15, I want to buy her a dressing up outfit, decorations, make her cake and get a few bits, my max budget we've decided is £100, she still will not understand the day so we will try not to go silly. I might even divide up the pressies a bit to go towards xmas as the family are pretty good at asking what she wants so no need to go crazy on spending.
Done a quick draft of numbers, we would of been at approx £74500 the way we were going at the december update. Using the credit card for living costs for the rest of the year will allow us to pay off a bit extra so to attempt to catch up a little the planned targets for the next few months are; Oct-£81800, Nov-£78750, Dec-£75700, we need to be at £75800 to be green for the december update! So fingers crossed we will scrape it. Hubby will be throwing all his over time at paying off the credit card.
The next couple of months we are going to try and get ourselves straight in the house. We have been painting the wood in the hall and I've been scarping the bathroom ceiling as all the paint peeled off, been tired but these things just have to be done.
Finally, going to have a better look at getting myself a new job in the new year, my current job is making me depressed and I think I need a change. Really starting to want another baby now but we would be so silly to not try and see this through and I really don't want to have to work again after having another baby unless it was part time.
Chart tomorrow so that will be nice to see, then really gotta work hard before december!Mortgage November 2003 was £135k, but thanks to this website on 28/08/12 we became MORTGAGE FREE!

OOh wanted to say I was very good today, I have made a potato and leek soup from some of our garden produce, despite having a bad year and it was yummy so I feel proud, the rest is in the fridge so will either get eaten soon or put in the freezer!
Also I made a tomato and basil soup, (friends tomatoes, our basil), our daughter has been picking non ripe tomatoes so we haven't had many this year. I also used our our garlic in both soups, so I feel all proud and mumsy today!
