  • I've finished reading The Devil's Novice by Ellis Peters. I've read a few of the Brother Cadfael books and they transport you back to an era that I like reading about.

I have selected The Snow Falcon by Stuart Harrison next. I have had this book for years but have never quite been in the right mood for it, so in the spirit of this thread I am going to give it a whirl.

Unfortunately I've ended up buying 3 new books in the past three weeks not including the OU pre reading one which I have to read before October so it looks as though my unreads will remain so for a while longer.

Have delved back into Shakespeare and Romeo and Juliet....will be reading that this afternoon methinks. Also went to the library and got a book about Hong Kong cinema and a book about the Jack the Ripper suspect and murders associated with him in America

Am still reading 'The History' by Stephen Fry in drips and drabs. I'm 116 pages in, 456 to go.

That's reminded me, it's due back at the library next week. *Rustles in purse for library card to renew online*

Finished Perfect Timing by Jill Mansell, it was ok but nothing more than a bedtime few pages book. Moved onto Marley and Me for bedtime and her Fearful Symmetry by Audrey Niffeneger for the train now.

Have read Romeo and Juliet and A Midsummer Night's Dream today. Am halfway through The Taming of The Shrew so might have that done by bedtime :D
