Just finished The Other Queen by Phillipa Gregory.

Am now reading The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo which I am enjoying, and have the other two in the series that my lovely sister bought for my birthday.

On holiday this week, so lots of lovely reading time :D

Here's my list for all you book lovers :).

That's a brilliant list: I've read a few and want to read many more. :) I'll have to see how many of mine I can get through before the end of the year as well: I'm aiming for about two a month and was just slightly ahead of myself, but now I'm reading a mammoth doorstop of a book so the rate will slow down slightly! *Rolls eyes*

    Wuthering Heights.

One of my all time favourites. My very favourite though is Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier

How have I missed this thread?!

Pickle, can I join your merry band of bibliophiles? I currently have four Billy bookcases which are stuffed full of books, as well as another six-footer, and I'm still short on book space. I have lots of books I haven't read, just because I thought they were a bargain. I will stop this!

I have updated my Amazon wishlist, as I will get books for Christmas this way. I will also use my T0luna vouchers for any "must haves" that I can't wait for.

My particular passion is crime fiction, the gorier the better. Mr Fresian thinks it's hilarious as in real life I'm very bubbly and positive, yet I love nothing more than curling up in a chair with a nice cup of tea and reading about murder - his usual question ten minutes after I've started a new book is "So, how many dead then?"!

I'm going to be ruthless. I'm going to read the books that are languishing and then send them to the charity shop if I think I won't read them again. I have just finished reading "The Time Travellers Wife" for at least the fifth time, that one won't be thrown out. I love it, and it still makes me cry :o

I think I'm going to review the bookcases and see what I haven't read, then will come back and post in a bit!

    Thanks for a fab idea for a thread/challenge :T

    Hi everyone,

Brilliant thread, I think I'd like to join you too as reading is my favourite relaxation and wind down activity. I am quite good about parting with my books after reading, only keeping those I award 10/10 to and authors I collect like Phillipa Gregory, Ben Elton, Sue Townsend (an eclectic mix!).

I've got a huge wobbling pile of unread charity shop books, my local sells paperbacks for 30p and I average two books per week read. Just finished 'The birthing house' by Christopher Ransom (horror) and am on with 'Toast' by Nigel Slater which I'm loving. Next up will be 'Kate's Story' by Billy Hopkins.

Can I just check with you all that you have thought about income generation on the DooYoo website by reviewing the books you've read? I've cashed in 4 x £50 (yes, £200) since October last year!

I like hearing what everyone else is reading and what they have enjoyed. Keep posting everyone!
