    I'm on a book buying ban, and since I didn't buy them it's okay!:rotfl:
I entered all these giveaways before I even set myself the ban, at least they aren't books I've been requested to review, so I can put them to the end of my list for now.

Planning on getting some serious reading done over the next 2 days before I'm back at work on Sunday!

I've just finished 'At My Mother's Knee...and Other Low Joints' by Paul O'Grady.

He can tell a tale, that one. Larger-than-life characters and a great narrative style make it :T :T :T :T.5 claps from me.

In particular, the ending's a corker.

Despite being late for work due to sleeping through my alarm, i took 17 Anne McCaffrey books to the local charity shop?
I loved those books, but i'd read them, re-read them plus gathering dust where they were.
Now to not buy anymore, for a while at least.
Makes me laugh though at the library now though as you have to pay 70p to order a book from another library? Makes me wonder what theyll think of next?
if i get a good deal like i have i could buy a book or two for that?

My library used to be like that, but then they stopped, then got the electronic online ordering system (i.e. Pickle's Amazon ;) ), so maybe there is hope for you yet! :)

Finished The Concrete Blond by Michael Connelly last night. Was pretty good. Which is a good job as I have at least two more by him on me 'to read shelf'! Hmmm another book down - what to read next...

finished the last queen, it was a really sympathetic telling of juanas life, i think would would have gone 'mad' if id had the hand in life shed been dealt. "Juana la loco" just seemed unfair given the way she was used and manipulated.

stared another anita shreve last night

I'm currently preparing for a fairly spectacular fail in terms of not adding to both my ebook collection and adding two physical books to the book cases....the Kindle is about to go on charge, currently there are 440 ebooks on it, I'm actually dreading how many there will be when it's finished downloading the freebies I've ordered since the last charge!

The two physical books are last week and this weeks Times collection books as I managed to find two vouchers at work on Sunday.
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.
