Morning All
Happy birthday Hart
Back to normality! Have to take the younger ones to school as there has been a 'man in a van' letter home and the police were patrolling round the school last night after an attempted snatch on Friday. Then Take DS2 to tech.
DS1 went for an interview on Friday and got a call on Saturday to say he had got the job :j I took great pleasure in writing his notice for him yesterday
Dramas at the airport yesterday - my bag had tipped going threw the scanner and as I was collecting my stuff together I noticed my money had gone so i said 'Hang on a minute there's £25.00 away here' and this girl next to me handed it to me - if I hadn't have said anything she was gone with it:eek: It later transpired that she also took my ID but a police woman watching on CCTV had seen what happened and got it back so I was reunited with it later.
Washing was put in last night, case needs emptying and need to get to the supermarket today for a few things. Also got a few MS jobs to do but they are all kind of in the same area which makes things easier.
Must admit tho it is lovely to be home I do miss them all while I'm away
Have a good day

I've threatened to go on strike before now, Molly. Sometimes it's really hard when you feel taken for granted. Hope everything smooths out for you soon

Happy Brthday Hart:bdaycake:Glad you decided to join us.
Diva sounds like a lovely evening in store - I love those sort of "at home"s.
At work at the mo so this will be a short post. PP thinking of you and Anguk hope your OH is continuing to improve.
Last knitting lesson tonight - will really miss them as I have enjoyed them so much. Didn't get any knitting done last night so have not finished the sleeves unfortunately but I can always pop back up to see them when I do finish.
Anyway have a good day everyone, will catch up later

Happy birthday and welcome to Hart. Have a lovely day
Essexgirl - hope all goes well today. It's a necessary evil, but the things us ladies have to do eh?!
Not much in the way of OS going on in our house still: had a poorly DS yesterday, the little mite has had an upset tummy for a few days now on and off but he's still smiling away. Wish I could take it away for him but the best I can do is lots of Mummy cuddles. He does proper cuddles now with his little head on your shoulder and it just makes my heart melt... :smileyhea
Have been craving a chinese for a few days now so tea tonight is chicken chow mein. Have never even tried to make anything like this before, so we'll see how it goes.
Hope everybody has a good day

Good morning
...been MIA for awhile so thought i'd come back.
Just packed daughter off to school and hubby has taken little one to nursery.
Today i'm gonna try and start tackling packing the house up (we are hopefully moving in 2 weeks), just don't know where to start tho :S
Dinner today for the kids will be something with salmon, i'm thinking homemade salmon fingers but we'll see.
Think it will be pasta for hubby.
Hope everyone has a good a day as they can

Took the plunge and opted for the mirena (although being told to take pain killers before hand makes me slighty nervous - I don't know why, labour was surely far more painful than this is ever likely to be :rotfl:) so will have to wait for an appointment to come through for that.....
It was as much to ease any discomfort - I had forgotten what period pains could be like but having my Mirena fitted soon reminded me!!0 -

Molly I know exactly how you feel ((hugs)) to you. My Mum keeps telling me that the children will not appreciate me until they eventually leave home. I know I appreciated how much Mum did for me once I had my own home & had to do it all
I live in hope anyway! Take some time out for yourself if possible - I did on the advice of Diva last Saturday - and I've felt much better since. Take care xx 0 -

Bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbrrrrrrrrrrrr its cold this morning, the wind has changed direction and is coming from the north east, very chilly.
Had just got out the shower this morning when the bell went, the chap to measure the bathroom for lino, much more hygenic than the cruddy carpet thats down now.
This morning I am going to get into my sewing room. This afternoon I am off to the quilting group. I had a look on Google last night to find the easiest way there........we will see.
I phonerd sky yesterday and as inofrmed in the email asked them to ring me back, have they???? No!!! I am so tempted to go to another company, trouble is we cannot get Vurgin here, so it would mean me forking out for a freestat ariel and box. They make me so cross, can you see the steam????
