1) remove the soap draw and clean
2) is your machine draining as quickly as normal? check the filter
3) put less washing in each load, the rinse water cant circulate and get the soap off
4) one of the above will fix the problem0 -

i get white marks when i put too much washing powder in my machine. I didnt find out till recently that they have changed the washing powder quantity so that you need to use less. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. I posted about this a little while back are you using Ariel biological that's what's doing it for me and you're right it costs a fortune in time and money and is so annoying. I certainly won't be buying it again but I've got a big box to use up:eek:Women and cats will do as they please and men and dogs should get used to it.;)

That will be interesting to see if they blame the machine, don't know about you but I know it's not my machine.Women and cats will do as they please and men and dogs should get used to it.;)

In the few weeks before my washing machine died a very noisy death our clothes were coming out with a powdery residue on them that would only come out on a second wash cycle. I thought it was wash powder until I realised it was actually scale. Could it be that? I don't have any answers how to fix it unfortunately, if thats what it is.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0

If it's scale, or the machine clogged with powder, run an empty cycle with soda crystals and no soap powder - worth doing from time to time anyway. We have a friend who is a chemist and works for Procter and Gamble, he reckons Soda Crystals will do instead of most Vanish products! He also told us they had terrible trouble with spot staining and powder patches when they launched the tablet products.0
