My poor kitty.

I cant leave a box anywhere without it getting holes punched in the sides. Silly cats.
Glad its not just mine that harasses me when I'm sat on the loo!
Ditto.
My eldest kitten Charlie has had several golden showers now from my boyfriend :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Good job he also likes jumping in my bath or under my shower to clean up afterwards
They both love a cardboard box - we got a banana box yesterday from morrisons and it has a big hole going through the centre and smaller holes around the box - Its like Christmas
Hope Archie is ok this morning ButonmoonsSometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...0 -
Well I just called and he's doing fine. They don't know if he can come home today, depends on if he eats more, he is just licking the food, but that's what he does at home because he doesn't like wet food!
The vet asked me if he was an indoor cat because he is shy? Well he is always shy around new people, plus he is in a scary vet surgery and just had his organs fiddled with. Poor thing.
He has a big scar down his tummy too, awwww.
Bill is sitting at £513. He still needs a painkiller and antibiotic injection and that should be it. Whats that another £40?
Hope he eats something, I'm wearing black trousers today and it's just weird not having to sellotape all the white hairs off before leaving!0 -
Glad to hear he's feeling better :j
Im sure he'll be back to his wild self in no time at all! I love a happy ending :happylove DD July 2011:happyloveAug 13 [STRIKE]£4235.19[/STRIKE] £2550.00 :cool:0 -

I am delighted to hear that Archie is feeling better even though he's still at the vet's.
When my wee Dylan had surgery on his intestines he had a big incision running down his tummy from just underneath his ribcage to almost at his little boy bits (admittedly they were missing but you know what I mean I'm sure). His whole belly was shaved (so soft, I had to kiss it!) He had a big plastic collar on him to stop him from getting at the stitches. The poor wee thing couldn't get on with the collar at all - he obviously had limited peripheral vision and so would tip toe about. Also he couldn't understand that when he went up the stairs he would be forcibly stopped because he didn't realise the collar would get caught on the steps. He's all better and the scar is invisible underneath his hairy belly.0 -

You definitely did the right thing
this has pushed me into getting Lily insured now as well.. like you I didn't think she'd need it as she's currently an indoor cat. She's going to be spayed next week and get her immunisations so I'll get it sorted out after that (even though its a routine operation I'm still absolutely terffied about it!)

Mellymeep you may be better getting insurance sorted before the spay and immunisations in case there are complications. Noah had a bad reaction to his last jabs so can't have any more, I don't know what vet treatment was required as he wasn't here then. AXA certainly allows you to pay by DD so you don't have to find the full year up front.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0

You definately 100% did the right thing. I spent far more than that on my last dog and i had the same thing of some people seeming to think it was a ridicolous thing to do but it isnt you love him and want him to be well.
Glad to hear hes on the mend and hope hes home really soon.0 -

Ahh I wasn't sure if they would insure her so quickly, and with her not having immunisations yet, i'll look into doing that though thankstrying to become a moneysaving student0 -
He's home now
His co-ordination with the collar is awful bless.
The total price was £545 and that includes a bag of hills i/d food as he wont eat wet food and his gut is very narrow so needs that food for at least a week.
His tummy scar and his arm look a mess.
Why is my other cat growling and spitting at him? He's not been away for that long! Is it because he smells different? Poor Archie doesn't need her grumpyness0
