Would it be mean to put his cone back on because he's jumping and scratching my door again :rotfl:

It's the feline version of Supernannys naughty step.

Karen's time out cone!! Only £6.99 +VAT at vets near you!

I'm angry at him anyways because he stole my tuna sandwich, I left for about THREE SECONDS, and I'm hungry because Tesco never showed up with my delivery  so I have no food and erm neither do they! No wet at least.

So I had to go to the garage and buy overpriced sachets to last them until they appear tomorrow(hopefully!)

Grey moggy is displeased with the flavours. Ungrateful!

    Yup,
I called in to the Co to get Daisy her food the other night but they only had Whiskas or food in gravy,so I got her Whiskas.
Aaannnndddd yesterday morning she barfed it up all over the hall carpet!

I don't fancy doing it myself! Be worried I hurt him. Plus it's not even scratching hald the time, he wakes up and then sretches and drags his claws down the door.

I just noticed the vet missed a stitch, so cut it out myself, really easy to do with Archie as he just lay there purring his head off. Nutter!

Oh and I ordered some chicken livers on my Tesco delivery, for me, as I saw a recipe that looked good. Shame I can't say the same for the livers, just the look of them has put me off food forever.

So I gave them to the cats, and Archie started growling at the other cat when she came near (never done that before with food!) So I froze the rest of the livers (I would of probably chucked them in the bin, until I read about raw food on here)

Seeing them eat the livers made me feel sick though, the combination of cutting up the liver, smelling it, seeing it and watching Archie gnawing them on my kitchen floor (cant eat out the bloody bowl!) made me almost puke.....

Yet cleaning his poop off the floor is no problem!

Funny thing is though, I used to work in a chicken factory and I clearly didn't recognize THOSE chickens livers, they were in the giblet bags but really poor cruddy chickens, and I remember a few liver/brain/kidney fights....

Didn't bother me then, and I once got hit in the face with an eyeball!

Well he is now stitch and cone free, hurrah!

The vet said to me, Oh I'll go get the vet nurse to hold him down.

I said no need, he'll love it. He did. Was purring his face off and trying to rub his chin off the vet as he was snipping the stitches out :rotfl: Most docile cat ever.

Even when I was looming over him to cone his head again, all he did was squint his eyes, he'd just sit there and let you do it. If that was my other cat, I'd be trying to pull the wee moo from behind the unit in the bathroom. Impossible to get her when she's down there!!

Apparently, Archie is slightly overweight BAHAHAHA, his bones jut out! Apparently that's totally normal though and it's only because cats are so fat nowadays it seems strange. Anyhoo, he weighs 4.6kg, and should weigh around 4kg, as I did notice he has a fat belly, more obvious when it's naked, reminds me off a naked lady garden the way it folded over the stitches :rotfl:

My other cat has no hope, she weighs 4.1 and looks "thick" and is a bit thick too! I remember when she got neutered she weighed 3.7kg and apparently that was slightly too much too. She's not obese so I don't worry but it's hard to get her moving, she's the laziest effing cat ever.

She mentally disfigures you with a glare when you go infront of her with a dangly mouse. How bloody dare I interrupt her 22 hour long sleep, unless it was for food. Jesus Christ!!!

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Your post in general is v.funny, but the bit I've highlighted had me nearly wetting myself. I'm going to say it to my vet so that he goes bright red.

Well he is utterly back to his old self now. Actually he may even be worse!

Last night he skulked into the kitchen, he knows he ain't allowed in but hides behind the fridge so you can't see him, and stole my defrosting chicken breasts, he looked really pleased with himself, I was.......not.

He had the cheek to be mooching around his biscuit bowl 20minutes later looking for a scoff. No no laddy.

This morning, I caught him ripping the little buds growing out of the plant pot, DD and me had planted cherry tomato seeds. He clearly didn't like them, the same for the crocus she grew, he demolished that too!

I noticed his scar has closed up almost completely, but it bulges a bit, I guess where his intestine was reattached? Feels kinda grim, doesn't bother him.

Ah man, he's away back in the kitchen, probably smells the peas I have on the hob (he loves peas!) Best go get him.
  • Aww he is gorgeous!
Sounds like he is a real carnivore too...which is good! Have a browse of some of the other posts on here regarding raw feeding.
They can get addicted to liver ( strange but true ) and too much of it is not good for them, so try him on chicken wings or thighs instead.

The only thing Noah has ever stolen was some frozen rabbit chunks, which were his supper anyway!

Well my 2 are clearly thieves! Raw chicken and they go wild!

Archie kept leaning up to the counter earlier, clearly looking to see if any was left, he might be lucky because I'm ill and cant be bothered cooking, so he actually might get the raw chicken that was leftover to make chicken fried rice!

I did actually think too much liver would be bad for them, not sure why, he didn't get much of it, one tiny liver cut up. The bag of them are still in the freezer and I had actually forgotten about them lol, makes me feel sick thinking of them in there now hahaha.

I would give them raw thighs, but last time I did it just went to waste because his mouth is too tiny too rip it up properly and the other cat clearly thought it was too much effort beyond giving it a few licks and went and sulked at the kitchen cupboard instead.

    Mince is much easier lol
