You might want to check it for your peace of mind, not necessary though.

I have just sold mine for £3.50 + £4.40 - very pleased with that.

i checked with post office man when i posted mine today in the prepay envelope - he said no extra protection needed - sinply hand your packet in at post office counter - they stick a barcode on, and scan it, then give you receipt with tracking number - simple enter number on post office website to track your packet. tesco have paid for this service already, and post office are under contract to tesco, so if it isn't delivered, they will owe tesco (and hence eventually us) insurance money...

I agree with wildthing01, when I look mine to the post office they said that there was no extra protection needed.

As you may be aware the value of mobile phones tend to decrease from month to month according to market forces and as a result we have to adjust the values we offer on our website on a regular basis. When you register to recycle, your quoted value remains fixed for 10 days which is why we ask you to return the mobiles within this period. The giftcard is usually sent out a week after the phones are processed.
