Carphone warehouse - Pay as you go - Refurbished handsets
Nokia 5530 £89.99 + £10 top up = £99.99
£5 profit and 200 Points Tesco
You can also get £7.50 cashback back through Quidco.
Carphone wharehouse out of stock so ordered from
one stop phone shop. Had email today saying phone ordered will be delayed by 7-14 days because of current UK stock levels.
Have already done the Greener Solutions order for the cashback and CC points. Think you only have 10 days to send phone into them?

Post number 96 has a link to the Black phone at the cheaper price. Originally posted by simon_says, I ordered one today - could not use Quidco but it's still a good deal, confirmed with Tesco £60 plus 200 points to recycle. Got a phone call to say they are out of stock but back in this weekend and I should have it by Tuesday. Also it's Talktalk.
You can't find the phone unless you use the link put in by simon_says so please thank simon_says if you do it!
I also have a black phone on back order from 9th Feb. Phoned them this morning and they are not sure if/when they will be getting any more in.

Just ordered both via E2Save and had confirmation from them. As they were both on the same order, only one lot of TopCashBack, but that's OK.
Will send off to get them recycled at Tesco too - Thanks

BAD NEWS EVERYONE!! I was just checking the price from Tesco was still the £60 - it's gone down to ............£5 :eek::eek::eek:
My phone is still on order from e2save so think I'll just call to cancel now.0 -
Nooo I just sent mine off today! I really hope they honour the previous price!0
-
They should if you have sent it off in time - you have their promise in writing.
(or should) The email serves as a legal promise, should you honour all the relevant details/conditions.
The only reason they could justify not paying is either a) fault on the phone (damage, etc); b) arrived after the 10 day date they gave to receive the phone after setting the date.
Definately glad I sent it next day delivery and with extra packing so they can not say it arrived after the deadline!
But you need to have ordered the envelope/confirmation email before hand and - if not, ebay should get you the £60 back
Just emailed them to confirm this - will post the answers on arrival. still certain its OK if you get it their on time. However, I imagine a flurry of people buying and not sending off for the recycling envelope in time. Beware - those who have to sell a phone ebay may be full of them soon.

FROM TESCO RECYCLE WEBSITE:
You selected: Samsung B3310 worth £8.00 in Tesco Mobile airtime.
Now please select to add either 200 Clubcard points or donate £2 to charity.
........................OR
You selected: Samsung B3310 worth £5.00 in Tesco gift cards.
Now please select to add either 200 Clubcard points or donate £2 to charity.
Tesco have obviously twigged on to either their mistake or the inundation of phones
However, s they are selling at £60 this has either been a loss leader, or possibly an error. Luckily they should honour it either way!
IF YOU HAVE ORDERED THE PHONES and wish to now return them, do not open the packet, cancel and send them back. If you send them back within 7 or 10 days, I think the e2save CSA said you get a no quibble refund. In which case it is probably better not to open the packet................ is it 5 phnes per year per clubcard or per person? im a little comfused now
If your phone is not listed on the website and you use the Freepost recycling envelope in stores (or by requesting envelopes via this site) there is a limit of 5 phones per Clubcard holder per calendar year.
I think this means if they are paying for the phone, its not part of the limit. I assume that is because if its worth them paying for the phone, its making them a good and easy profit. However, other phones are not so profitable and therefore they wish to restrict it. Remember, phones can be worth to £8 (although probably costing tesco no more than £2-4 pounds + postage). Tesco want to encourage phones that bring in money and avoid being swamped with older phones that are less profitable.
BTW I am guessing... but I reckon thats how it works................ Have you ever wondered what
