My £10 has now been applied to both sims too. I too sent free text to 9770 this afternoon. Probably about 6 hours before the credit showed.

No, just the phone and the battery needs to be on/in it and it needs a charge.

By 'Registered' do you mean they have your Name and Address or you have just activated them?
If Vodaphone don't have your details I'd sell them, otherwise see if any of your Friends or Family could make use of them.

    I 'spose your options are:-
    1) keep and don't use the Sim Cards.
    2) unlock your Mobile and use the credit on that.
    3) buy a cheap (£5-£10) mobile, use up the credit and then recycle that phone.

    Edit,
A quick look on eBay found a unlocked Nokia 3330 for £9.99 delivered.
You could recycle that for £1.50, keep it as a 'spare' or eBay it.

I didnt register or anything but checked my balance & its showing #10.00, Does this mean the £10 credit ?
  • you don't have to register - that's just their sales tactic (although if you do, you get £1 free credit). to activate the phone and the sim, you just have to make a call. i just called my other mobile, didn't even answer the call, and that activated the card - just checked balance and it's saying £10.
