katebl - check your DHL tracking. The e2save website marks as complete once its handed to the couriers.

Problems? 1) phone DHL; 2) phone E2Save and find out where and if it has got lost. To be honest I did not sign for mine, but it should be only given to someones hand.

However - DHL sometimes give the local distribution over to other companies who are less reliable. if its not delivered within 3 days it goes back to the store. if its marked for dispatch on Tuesday delivery would normally be wednesday. That means Friday is the last date before its returned - so I would check the websites out now.

Sent mine off today. Looking on the Royal Mail website it seemed to me that compensation goes up to £39 (rather than £32). As I paid £34.95 for the phone I figured this was sufficient.

Rather than a regular "Proof of Posting" as this goes via a returns label you can (ie should) get something a bit more. A large barcode was placed onto the envelope I was given a till receipt with a tracking code (much like recorded delivery). Just checked on Royal Mail and this has allowed me to track the envelope.

Credit not on my Virgin sim as yet. Will give it a couple of days before I call them.
  • I'm pretty sure it did say on the website that it will take 48 hours for the credit to show

Thanks Stryder, I couldn't find any tracking details on the website or the email though? The dispatch email said it had been passed to royal mail logistics, no mention of DHL?

One of mine said RM, one said DHL. Both came by DHL.

Perhaps it has been passed to HDNL - (ie a local bod with a car)

Thanks thepearce, have had another look at the email and the e2save website - pretty cr*p really, doesn't give any tracking info at all! Guess I will have to spend a fortune (not very MSE!) calling E2save tomorrow.
