H gave me a lie in this morning. Didn't get out of bed until 9am  Both kids slept through last night :T Sure it won't last but hey I ain't complaining ;)
Just taken the roast chicken out of the oven so waiting for that to cool a bit before I strip it bare.
Still got my orange muffins to make.
Weather wet and dull although I could with getting the kids out for some fresh air.
Going to have my first attempt at making HM yoghurt in a flask - wish me luck!

PP - Hugs to you, my condolences on the passing of your FIL. I hope he's in a better place to watch over you all xx

Nelski - mmmmm you can keep the gin but can he come back via the West Midlands before coming back to you ;)

    Afternoon all :D

Just rushing in to say :bdaycake: Happy Birthday Jackie. Know you're being spoiled by your lovely family ;)

Just back from Church, and now have to dive out to get a gift for my goddaughter. She's a really girly girl, so something pink and possibly frilly??:D It'll be fun choosing.

Dinner tonight will be the rather special steaks I'd got for yesterday, but which didn't get used because we went out for an impromptu dinner with DS3 and his delightful GF :T So nice and quick to cook. Having absented myself from OS for the last two days, I need to buckle down and catch up some laundry today. Other than that it will be a surface tidy, and then crafts while I watch the footie :D

(((hugs))) to nic on the loss of your dog.

PP condolences to you, DH and DD on the loss of FIL.

anguk, brilliant news on Martyn :T

    Have a good day everyone.

    Hello everyone

Hope you're having a good weekend? It's been a lovely one here, sun shining and a good stiff breeze which is great for getting the washing dried outside.

Have been busy pottering about. Last night, DH made curry for tea, but it was too hot for my liking, too many chillies! Think it'll be fish pie from the freezer for tonight's meal.

Have spent the weekend watching the rugby - love this time of year for the Six Nations. The results yesterday were as expected. Just hope that the Scots can pull off a victory against France this afternoon :j

Happy Birthday to JackieO :bdaycake: hope that you have a lovely day!

Right, I'm going to catch up with the other stuff on the thread.

Enjoy the rest of the day and hugs to everyone.

    Afternoon all :)

Been a busy day today so far.

Girls have gone off to their young carer's group and won't be back until around 2.30.

Ironing has finally been done and the wm is on the go.

I've put a mix in the bm for rolls and chicken breast are in the sc along with some corn on the cob :)

I've made some butter crunch biscuits and there's some more in the oven, so the smell from the house is

I've also got all the windows open and the lovely fresh air is filling the house :)

Finally, I'm sorting stuff for our Chinese day on Tuesday, so am feeling pretty worn out now, but also good that I've got a fair bit done :)

I think it's time for a well earned cup of tea and an mse surf [as long as I don't forget the biscuits, as has been known to happen :o:D]

Hope you're all having a good day :)

I have bought her a new quilt ( £5 from netto ) quilt cover and bedspread , if i say so myself it looks lovely - hope she likes it
