Ok, Having seen the shopping list, I'm now not sure how to sort it out for a faimly of 6. I was just going to buy 1.5 times the amounts but it doesn't seem to be that clear cut.
    Any ideas???

I'm in Staffordshire. Is that millions of miles from you?
I was wondering if I bought double and then perhaps we could meet up and I could give you a half portion?
    What do you think?

we were getting a kilo for £4.95.

it's nearly a price match, and may require less as it's seriously strong rather than just mature...

what do people think? xx It's just a 5p difference to budget, if you don't count the leftover quid's worth against me! :D

Sounds good to me. I will have a look at Tesco mature value too as I can get someone to pick me some up if needed.

Whenever I order from Asda they send me 100g cheddar instead of 1kg. I think the packer presumes I have made a mistake:D

I hoped you would be okay if I move meals around a bit, at least to start with. Looking at the plan I thought I might start them off gently, if you know what I mean:o

artybear has just made me realise I could make the meals as per plan and then make something a little bit different for DH for the time being. There are 5 adults here until after Easter hols.

As there are 5 of us I was planning on ordering the same amount of most ingredients. Mine are all adult too. To be honest I was thinking of adding extra pasta, rice, potatoes, maybe I am too mean.
