weezl Monday is good for me.0
-
gosh that's quite a bit over
By going under on some off the odds (so 2x carrots and 2x onions for instance), swapping the eggs for 15 pack smartprice and milk for 2x 4pts, the initial list for 2 comes to £55.90. Go under on all the odds and you'd probably come in under £50, but it might not see you through the whole month. I think it's gotta be a personal judgment call for each individual.
On a (personally) happier note, I just made a list of what I'll need for the 3 of us, and taking into account stocks I already have in, my shopping list comes to £34.87. I think I can live with that, somehow :j
Monday is okay for me, btw0 -
I've just filled my trolley and mine comes to £126.77 for 6.
That does take into account some stocks I already have in, though no where near as much as I thought!
It also doesn't include milk because we use a milkman.0 -
weezl When will I be able to go ahead and buy this trolley load?
(not so sure where I'm going to fit it all!!!)0 -

I will paste this lot into the survey post
With regard to the other recipes....
I am not sure if there are still surveys required for these or not ??
I can crack on and do them, if so... but if they are not required, then I will leave it
What is the thoughts of Weezl on this ??:D
I am going to have a bit of a play about with yeast later, and see what/how the cultures/starters work and sleep.
I will let you know, but if I remember correctly, I think these things do take a few days to know, if you know what I mean.0 -
flipping heck you lot cant half chat! Lol re the milkshake...being honest I read it and thought "she hasnt put how much lard..."...then I did also thing that it was 8.15 on sunday when actually it was 10.15!!!!!!!!! What am I like eh!
Brief notes before brain mush gets it...can confirm that that was the voice of a weezl and an acetate! While non welsh people think weezl sounds Welsh round there ere parts she definately sounds English...Welsh is when someone is speaking English but you cant actually tell cos the accet is so strong!
Ceridwen, my lovely, principled and slightly bonkers internet friend please stop going on about sugar. I fear I may spontaneously combust with frustration if you dont!We all know you dont like it and your point has been made! How about some lovely useful info about forraging instead so bob n shirl can go on a weezl like adventure eh?!!
Off to snooze....
