You don't sound like what I expected because I always expect everyone to sound like me. (Everyone always looks like me in my head too.)
Ever seen the film "Being John Malkovich", Susan ? That's what you reminded me of there...I just thought weezl would consider nail varnish as a luxury.;)I think im just imagining everyone as super frugal who would think I was frivolous for wearing make up or stuff like that.:o:D
I think im making you all too hard core in my brain when I imagine it its a bit like an amish community :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:I dont know:o-you sounded much younger and funer (thats not a word is it) than I thought. But then I thought sian sounded young so maybe I just have lots of old voices in my head lol! :rotfl:
That is a very flattering picture you are painting there, Artybear !I dye my hair - can I still play ?

I'm probably gonna hve to swap some of the meals around, Poohbear, as I will be the only one in my family that will follow the plan in full, and sticking to the plan as published might(I dunno yet as I've not seen the final version) result in me having to cook three different meals on occasion, and that just ain't gonna happen
So I kinda assumed that some flexibility will be accepted, but I have to confess I never ran it past Weezl ! So what are your thoughts, Weezl ? I do hope you do not feel that we are already plotting to undo all your hard work.... I was just thinking we'd be teaching Shirl to fish and apply your principles to her individual situation, is all !0 -

weezl You know before I looked at the link, I was thinking 'its worth a try, may not be so bad, though I think the whisking might be tricky'
It's amazing what you start to think could be edible...;)
Awwww frankie that's so cute, me and DH are cracked up laughing here

I think it's fine
The advantage of you all doing the same meals would have been the hand-holding element if someone was struggling, but I think we can all keep popping on and calling out tips from the sidelines?

Hey, I'm in the Midlands too
Well, right on the east edge thereof, but still can't be all that far... I was under the impression almost everyone here is in Wales !
Weezl, course we can do hand-holding regardless. It'll be fun0 -

Ready for Saturday, please, if that's possible. With the bank holiday closing times, I'll not be able to shop in time for Tuesday otherwise.

What is the price we need to match ? I bought two days ago, in my local Asda, a 400g block of "McLelland seriouly strong cheddar" for £2. Any good ?0 -
re: the cheese. I almost never had to buy SP anymore because 1 supermarket or another seems to have either BOGOF or 2-for-£4 on 400g McLelland or Cathedral City.
Morrison's had Cath City on Sunday BOGOF £3.68, so you might wanna check if that's still there. I also get my raisins and a few other bits much cheaper at M's too.
top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne
would like to win a holiday, please!!

it's nearly a price match, and may require less as it's seriously strong rather than just mature...
what do people think? xx It's just a 5p difference to budget, if you don't count the leftover quid's worth against me!

weezl I'm happy to give the price match cheddar a go. It's a tester month isn't it, so we'll learn as we go on.
I haven't looked at how the meals are spread over the month. Is there a list somewhere?
In regards to the list, the sooner the better for me, please. Are people going to shop at ASDA or their 'normal supermarket of choice'?0
