I don't know about using less on the cheese...I've had both and think they're about the same. It does tend to grate better though from a purely ease-of-use point of view!
Might just be my local distribution point, but my ASDA order yesterday had packet yeast subbed for the big jar of Allinson's, so while the same price you get far less yeast. Luckily I have spare, but just a heads-up.top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne
would like to win a holiday, please!!

oops caps lock
I was wondering if we could get shirl to keep a wee bit of the previous batch dough to add as the starter for the new batch IYSWIM, to save cash on yeast?
Does anyone have experience of doing this?:)

SORRY GUYS!!!
I have now adjusted my image of you all in my head to beautiful, ravishing women that seems to be nearest the truth lol!!:D
Hmmm...I live in the midlands and my 'home' is in deepest darkest Wales so I have a foot in both camps!
In regards to the shopping list anytime over the weekend would be good for me so I can order online. Also I may need some help in figuring out what I will need to buy or reduce as for the first week it will be just me then Mr artybear is comming back. :T
Mr artybear has asked a special request from you Weezl. He would like to know if he gets hungry can he eat more than on the planner? I have explained that I would give the feedback that maybe portion size wasnt big enough and that you dont want him to go hungry but he seems to think you are an omniscient presence and may tell him off lol:rotfl:

Hey, I'm in the Midlands too
Well, right on the east edge thereof, but still can't be all that far... I was under the impression almost everyone here is in Wales !
Weezl, course we can do hand-holding regardless. It'll be fun
Well im feeling left out as i am no-where near wales and am slowly getting rid of more snow0 -
Good morning, well lots to catch up on there, so will do in a mo, but first another recipe for planner 1 a lovely thick 'milkshake' and if you drink a pint of it it's one of our 5 a day::T:T:T
Fruity thickshake
3 blocks lard
400g sugar
6 tablespoons apple curd
water to achieve desired consistency
method
whisk the lard in your largest mixing bowl, whilst gently adding in your other ingredients.
When the mix is velvety soft and runny enough for you to drink through a straw, (just) enjoy!
NB there are very important nutritional benefits to this recipe, which are very briefly explained here. DO PLEASE CHECK IT OUT BEFORE WE CHAT FURTHER. It will be the only essential consumption on planner 1. It's surprisingly tasty, and a little of the fruitiness does come through.
Thanks m'lovelies :beer::beer:
good grief, I thought you'd gone completely bonkers when I first read this! Then realised what day it is!
well done :j0 -

If people are doing an online order and want to start filling a trollet that's cool, there'll only be minor tweakage if I've forgotten anything
