  • I think you have to subscribe to be able to read it - the website seems to have a minimum of £5 for a weeks subs. They don't seem to have a one off subscription unfortunately. I tried to post a jpeg of the article this morning, but it wouldn't work.

Aww, thanks for that. I'll try to pick a copy of it up tomorrow.

Yes he is musical. :) He isn't in any external bands though.

my son is in the belfast school of music band with someone who he thought may be your child, going on some details like score, first preference etc. but obviously crossed wires - anyway hope all goes well tomorrow and look forward to meeting you at P7 night on the 21st (we'll bring a bottle)!!!
    Regards

  • I just called my son in to have a quick chat with him about his feelings etc re results tomorrow and he told me 'if its about the transfer test I don't want to talk about it. You'll just make me feel worse by talking about it and then I'll be thinking about it more.' I told him I didn't think he was too worried about it and he said 'Im not'. Very strange. So I've just let it go with that. He's in bed now watching a DVD. To be honest all he's been talking about is his party tomorrow and his new XBox that his Nana is buying him. I'm not sure if he genuinely isn't too worried or if he is a bit anxious. I'm very confused.
  • Neveranymoney was arrested this afternoon for impersonating a postwoman. :rotfl:

I have the Irish News. I haven't any facilities to scan it in though. I could type it up. Alternatively I could scan it on Tuesday in work.

Thanks exspendi, don't worry about typing it in tonight. God, that's all you need! I will just buy one tomorrow.:)

No not him. We haven't made it to the School of Music yet unfortunately. He does play violin, guitar and sing with the Phil Youth though so you were on the right tracks. Really hope to be getting an invite to the 21st. :rotfl:
  • Goodnight all, Look forward to hearing everyone's goodnews in the morning.

Weeping may endure for the night, but joy comes in the morning

:rotfl:like people going on blind dates - the posters on this board will have to wear red ribbons in their hair or little badges to distinguish themselves on these nights....no-one but this forum will know what it all means - like a little secret society........:rotfl:

Josie, we could have secret handshakes and all sorts of nonsense. :rotfl:

10 Days you are off early, you aren't actually planning on sleeping are you?

    Kingston, he'll be fine.

By the way is it the norm to be buying presents and cards tomorrow? I've noticed a phone and an xbox being mentioned so far today. We did all that on results day but hadn't thought to do it tomorrow again.
  • It would be nice to keep it going after the results are out. We could discuss best place to buy uniforms, supplies, school bags, transport etc etc etc....
