Katsu, sounds good. I just have loads of blankets and bespreads (got a really nice faux suede one for a tenner from Dunelm Mill just before xmas and it's lovely and toasty. Then cos I'm on my own in a double bed I roll myself up in the duvet and tuck it under my feet.

Oh, and thanks for the tea, I posted when I got it but I'm not sure you saw.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

Do it on the taste and the additives.

The cheap stuff just doesn't have the additives of the expensive things (they can't afford them...)

But honestly, "Basic" sweetcorn is no different from "Between the knees of Vestigal Virgins" sweetcorn...

Oh I do all that. We just always seem to go for a few bit, and come out with a trolley full having spent loads, then cant fit it in the freezer/cupboards. Tomorrow I'm going to write a list of what we have in and work out what meals I can make :o

Is OH the kind of guy who can be trusted to get what's on the list and nothing else?

Erm no. I once sent him for the basics when we first got married. You know, eggs, potatos, beans - cheap meals. He came home with a birthday cake :rotfl:

  • oh, gravy, yes on chips - (being a northener!) but not on fish! :rotfl: Can't remember the last trip the chippy........must be well over a year....I don't get fish, I usually get a sausage in batter and then feel ill overnight. The fat from chip shop stuff sets off the pain I get in my shoulder blade etc so I tend to avoid ever going in one. There's one between here and work and I think I've been there twice in the 5 years I've lived here.
