It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

I spend about £60 a week on us...but could easily spend more-I tidied up my freezers today and have enough fish to repopulate the Atlantic...

Not a joke:smoked haddock, cod steaks, tuna steaks, tuna steaks in garlic stuff, fish fingers...

    3 pizzas
8 meals i have made and frozen (in the slow cooker)
    about 12 bananas
    2 packages of bacon
    3 different kinds of sausages
    pork chops
    2 bags of chicken breasts
    minced beef

    also:
    quorn sausages
    quorn fillets
    3 loaves of bread
    1 garlic bread

Needless to say-I need not buy any meat for the next month at least!

    Phew, I've caught up!

I did make dinner whilst catching up tho. If you have ever considered substituting cammembert for parmesan - stick to cheddar instead. I had roast peppers and walnut pasta, which was a bit too rich with the cammembert. Thank goodness for salad.

oh, and if you were here this AM when I was wondering if I should buy a clothes line post or re-erect our rough lump of wood, I managed to save myself money by buying one from Argos http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/8501415/c_1/1%7Ccategory_root%7CKitchen+and+laundry%7C14418476/c_2/3%7C15701316%7CLaundry+and+cleaning%7C14418551/c_3/4%7Ccat_14418551%7CWashing+lines%7C14418552.htm for £14.99 instead of spending £22-25 getting one online. And I don't have to wait for delivery so if the weather is good tomorrow it may even go up! I think this makes it an MSE purchase? :o
