spud - have you tried meal planning and then shopping from that? When money was at its tighest for me, I was doing shopping for the 2 of us on £120 per month. I did a 7 day x 3 meal plan and slotted meals in from what I had already and then from what was left added things to the list to then make more meals. It's regimented but it works if you are really trying to stick to a budget.

Ordering online helps because you aren't tempted by other stuff as you go round.

We struggle with meal planning BB. DH only eats with us at weekends. During the week, he has his main meal in a morning. It gets complicated :o

ah it will be warm (i hope) inside so I wouldn't worry about it...no-one is going to say why are you wearing linen. I love linen shirts and wear them all year around

  • Linen is rubbish to wear, wash and iron.
    That's my experience anyway.
  • actually, a lot of the NEXT models seem very thin....

I had a green linen suit years ago, similar shade. Total disaster from the first time I wore it. Horribly creased all the time, it never went back into shape properly. Horrible.

Gorgeous dress Bunny, I avoid linen because it needs ironing and I don't have an iron. And you're better off buying something you can wear now and through summer and in Florida than something you have to wait till winter again. So it's gorgeous and money saving!
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

The answer would probably be to go shopping without him, or get it delivered as you suggested BB ;)

Erm no. I once sent him for the basics when we first got married. You know, eggs, potatos, beans - cheap meals. He came home with a birthday cake :rotfl:

And are you likewise? What about the kids?
