I'll thank my dad for you !!:T
I had Mint try the scare tactics a few weeks back - tell us what you are going to pay now or 'the boyz will be round!' kind of thing.
Had my CCCS budget review and upped it from £223 a month to £300.
The lady said that MINT were just using scare tactics - and in any case my repayment increase would look good anyway.Smile!0 -
            Hi All
Well I shall look forward to the joys of the creditors getting in touch.....
Now what has been happening today - I thought I would be productive as my car will not now be ready until Friday --- bar humbug I will have to put more petrol in this one.
So I tried to put a few items on ebay - what a mess it is ... although I have to say computer is slightly dogdey so not sure if it is the site at all. Anyway I digress; it was so incredably slow that I gave up after 2 and a half hours.... I managed to list two items. Won't reduce the 11 years at this rate.
Anyway the time spent on ebay was meant to be reading up research methodologies so guess what I will be doing in a minute..... And now I have resorted to my laptop, which is rubbish but at least it is a little be quicker than the forty minutes to log on to the internet on the main computer - I gave up at that point.
I hope you have all had a good day and a spend free one too. I have except the dinner money for the children and I don't count that.
take care
Me.

Howdy you the kids and cat!
What a great post, you are doing a very brave thing
Re Egg if your DMP is due to start aug then i leave it as we will be sending them everything they need in the next week or so if we haven't already sent it out, it will be a case of "can you pay just £5 more etc" if your plan is a sept starter give em a quick call and say "i'm with CCCS this is my client number you can call them on blah and make it VERY clear you won't enter into negotiations with them
If anybody has any CCCS related Q's just gimmy a shout

            Hi Big Al
I am glad your appointment went well - see it does feel better if only for a little while until the reality of just how long it is going to take.........
Actually I am really pleased that I did take my head out of the sand at last. I am very scared about the budget and being able to stick to it as I tend to be a bit impulsive hence why I have become a recluse so that I don't actually go anywhere and be tempted to spend.
The children don't like it much though.
Take are

            Thanks
I know what you meen about the budget, they cut a lot of my spending on the kids clubs/birthdays etc. which i know makes sense but don't know how to break it to the kids:huh:
I actually let it all go tonight and had a cry
after explaining how it all went to my OH. But she was really supportive :T
I will look you up again soon to see how you are doing, I dont get on much due to working and never getting achance till the kids have all gone to bed:j

Its encouraging to me that you and your OH can talk about money together ... something me & OH are hoping to be able to do ... This site is encouraging me to see my responsibilities and not just see it as his debt... I am hoping he might use the site or see the CAB or someone with me soon...
So thanks - Kate0 -

            Hi Everybody
Are you enjoying the sunshine? I spent all of yesterday turning out the sheds - is that task avoidance or what.....
Note to self - I must finish transfering all of my DD's to new bank account..... Cannot put it off any longer.
I have managed to pay for DS trip and spending money without resorting to CC - although I have to say it has been tough and certainly not the easiest route.
On a positive note I have done some more research for my dissertation and will read the articles tomorrow.
Take care and try to think positive thoughts...........(Does Ewan count as a positive thought????)
