Thanks from me too, OP! It's perfect for DD to do her homework, surf, watch DVDs etc. :T

Thanks to everyone on this site who have recommended free software too! For anyone still setting up their system then OpenOffice is a good alternative to MS Office and miles better than MS Works. The Beta version of MS Office 2007 is still available for download too (full functionality until February 2007 only), but it's no longer free - it costs a whole £1.20 administration charge :p .

OpenOffice.org is excellent, I use it on both of my systems instead of MS Office :D

Use a lot of other open source software too, Firefox instead of IE, GAIM instead of MSN Messenger, etc :)

I know you did nej - I wasn't referring to thanking me, I didn't do anything, it was the original poster I was talking about.

Also what I was talking about. I meant I had now thanked the OP.

you may want to phone the tescos nearby, if there are any.

My friend did a 30 min drive to the Blackpool store to pick up his.

PS Lol at Kilty's signature. OK then!

where are these usually stocked? at the aisles when you walk in, or at the computer section?

I've been after one for the last few days and haven't had any success. Phoned most Tesco Extra stores in Hampshire and Berkshire, none in stock.

Surprised that Tescos Newbury and Camberley didn't even stock it!

At Blackpool they had them just boxed up on the shelves, not in the computer section.

i'm sure the P3M 1.2 would give any of the nasty celerons a run for their money.

But this isn't a nasty Celeron this is a nice Celeron-M which would give a 1.6ghz Pentium-M a very good run for their money.
