I was clearly making reference to the claim that Dixons Travel don't match online retailers which they clearly do. I did not mention anywhere that Dixons Travel is an online retailer did I?????

No but you quoted a post by Jackg stating that exactly.
Best Regards

I was stating that clearly they do match online retailers as per advert I posted. Is this difficult to follow???

Hmmm I'd hate to tell someone who seemed so sure of their 'facts' that they're not wrong but in this case I'm happy to say: SEE ADVERT BELOW!!!

Okay - Maybe I was Wrong about that, the fact still stands that you waited until after the 7 days to action the price match, which they did, and you're STILL complaining.

Having re-checked my receipt in case I was missing something... there is NO MENTION of a 7 day period for the price promise (remembering that I bought from the Travel store) so as far as I was concerned I was in the right to chase up the price issue upon my return from holiday..... and if they didn't respond then hey ho!! BUT they did respond and that's fair enough HOWEVER if Dixons say they will Price Match then they should honour that.

And the main reason for me making my point in the 1st place was thus:

Actually, I was backing up what was written in an earlier post about contacting the CEO if you want to get things sorted...... which I did as there was no reply to my last email to customer services hence the RESULT i alluded to!

You could try sending an email to their CEO John Browett john.browett@dixons.co.uk he normally replies.

In which case, I must apologize - no idea they did this until now!
