I bet everyone is ringing to ask about their dodgy interest calculations!

I just don't have time in the mornings, as they don't open till 8, and I have to be at work by 9.

Hope Lloyds is less than you expect it to be x

RMC have you looked to see if you've set it up to pay you by bacs and if you have that you haven't set it too high for payout.

10 minutes on hold to Lloyds and i now know my estimated interest is £145 less than last month for all of our debt. Now looking forward to seeing our minumum payments go under £900 currently £933 just think of the holidays we could have with that cash every month.
I just need to make it through tomorrow cant wait to see wages this month, plus cant wait to get the cupboards stocked up just in case this snow that they keep talking about arrives again. Another early morning shop Friday as I have a feeling the supermarkets will be swamped this weekend.
Instead of making all the big payments up front i am going to hold some of the money in a savings account and move it weekly depending on how we are doing plus it will keep me motivated moving a bit each week.
Lastly the positive news it's nearly Christmas and santa will be here soon just want to say :xmassign: watch out for :santa2: and :snow_grin

That sounds like good tactics with your payments going forward HWG. I think 2011 will be all about managing our budgets effectively!

I have been and looked at 2011payments and have decided to reduce payments so we are not living on the edge all the time, in doing this i am currently looking at a shortfall of 10k but trying to clear 50k in 2 years and still live is nearly impossible. I know there is a possibility of overpayments and if i do better than this we should still be able to clear the last bit by early 2012 at the latest.
Im pleased how far we have come in a year clearing just over £17k just need a big fat bonus or payrise well a girl can dream

  • I am glad you are giving yourself some breathing space next year HWG, no matter how much you manage in 2011 life will still be so much better with less debt!

Fingers crossed you don't have any problems with your wages HWG, that is the very last thing you need.

Taking a bit of pressure off ourselves for next year is the right thing to do if we don't want to spend the whole of 2011 stressed out and worrying about money!
