Im in a strange mood taday, not unhappy because i know the debt is going down but a little out of control as i after working hard to clear Lloyds i have now BT to it and it has a high balance again, and i am about to do another BT this should make 1/3 of debt on 0% for 6 months.
I was hoping to be at 30k with Decembers pay but that is now my aim for January pay, so i am currently running one month behind.
Im confused by which card to overpay next with the rules changing in January think i will go play with the calulators be back later with a plan hopefully.

We currently have 6 cards to clear:

Lloyds No 1 Just done a BT to this card Hope to clear July 2011
Lloyds No 2 Hope to BT this to HSBC in December 2010 and close this account
HSBC This will be half Interest half 0% for 6 months to be cleared December 2011
Tesco Hope to clear this January 2011 and close
HSBC No 2 This has a £2k BT on it hope to clear Feb 2012
Mint Hope to clear March 2011

    JUNE 2011
I am hoping by June 2011 we will be down to 3 credit cards and hopefully near to £17k

    SEPTEMBER 2011
I am hoping to be under £10k and down to 2 cards hopefully on the home straight

    DECEMBER 2011
I have worked out we will be about £3500 short at the end of the year looks like i will have to get my thinking cap on as this budget is going to be hard to stick to as it is.

I'm not sure if I should give myself another 6 months just so we dont live on the edge for a year or should i just go for it and if we dont make it we will just keep going until we do.

Mint will be the first one to be cleared then?

I am also approx £3k short of our goal HWG, I think we can only take each month at a time and give it our best shot. I don't want to extend my deadline and get slack and then not achieve that either, but if I miss the goal by 3 months and have tried my best 90% of next year I will be happy :)

Make sure you double check the calculators now that you have 0% deals. When I got my 0% the calculator told me to pay it off in an order that my spreadsheet showed me would cost an extra £391

I had a look at the calculators but I ended up back on my spreadsheets as they work for me.
Now it may be a turn of fate but I was supposed to be out Wednesday for a xmas curry and one of the girls has had to pull out and the 3 of us that are left are a bit lazy and if its cold and snowy its cancelled SAVING £20.
Second thing that happened 1st xmas party friday which is another get together but because some people have to travel and stay and 2 have pulled out it looks like it now be put off to January SAVING at least £50 these firends can drink.....
Looks like it could be another £100 off the cc if I scrape around a bit.
