This weeks budget is as follows:
Monday- £15 Dinner with a friend been putting it off for 2 weeks/ £1 work lottery ( dinner £3.50 for drinks £1 lottery)
    Tuesday- £1.50 DS running fees
    Wednesday- NSD
    Thursday - NSD
Friday - £30 food shopping just going to top up what we have already.
If I can keep to this I will transfer another £100 to Lloyds on Saturday.
I should also send £25 from change and £10 from paypal money this week when i manage to get to the bank.
Wish me luck I make it through another week.

My friend paid for dinner saying I paid last time so 2 drinks cost me £3.50 very pleased with that. Also a friend at work owed me £2 and gave me a £2 coin today so its in the bag for the bank.

End of the day £31k is a lot better than £50k. Another £19k next year and you'll be on £12k by Xmas next year.

But don't forget you have only started this year, so the chances are you will have learnt/discovered new ways to money save since you started and so you could well save more next year and be around £10k.

Once your debt starts to get below your annual income you know you're well on your way.

No im not going anywhere, no one else would put up with my rambling.
Only 3 watchers on ebay but its a start may try and get a few more bits on later.
I have come up with a back up plan if i dont raise the cash, one of DH cc doesnt need paying until 21st and minumum is £210 i could use this cash and do a BT when Lloyds is clear to make the monthly payment, Last resort but its an option.
Off to a charity fashion show this afternoon with designer dress says prices up to £99 i must resist although could do with something for xmas party now ive lost weight. ;)

Not sure if it's too late to say - but some balance transfers can take 10 days to go through. Just need to make sure it will go through in time if your relying on it to make the minimum payment x

Thanks for that info Beccie I will bear it in mind when I do the BT.
When I started this journey in January we were paying nearly £1000  in interest every month I have now got this nearer £650 plus we have nearly doubled our overpayments thanks to DH pay rise.
We have been told today we could be in line for a small bonus which will be paid feb/ mar time I wont get much as I have not been there that long but it all counts.
Our plans to get this paid by December next year depend on me getting everything onto 0% by March 11 and my spreadsheet says we sould be at about £24k in Mrach if all goes to plan that will mean we will be over 50% there.
Today I had planned to spend £1.50 on running but DS has gained another injury playing rugby so no club tonight.
Also ebay sales new one item is at £26 so total bids so far £38.98 still need to find £100

It's way too cold for running anyway!

To be at £24k by March will feel fantastic, fingers crossed for the bonus, no matter how small :)

When we get to new year I may post my monthly challenges but not sure im brave enough yet just in case I fail which I have a feeling we will. I may need to revise them so we can eat now and again.

I think waiting till the New Year is a good plan, we'll know exactly what we have to try and pay off in a year then.

As for food, I guess it qualifies as essential :)
