Went on a free trial with be2.co.uk for 5 days, cancelled within the 5 days about 5 months ago. All confirmed on screen
End of January they have debited a full 6 months out of my card, they say they have no intention of a refund because I did not cancel and my bankwill have nothing to do with it.
Stay well clear, they do not have a phone number and you will be out a large amount of money.

My experience most of the Free trails are not good. Just to catch people if they don't like it to continue at least get some money as much as possible.0

Got my money back, I went onto the head office website and guested the CEO e-mail address, after a high number of e-mails I was given a refund.
Would you like me to send them to you? (I don't want to pubblish them on this website not sure if I can)

We do run a number of trial offers on our site. These enable our customers to try out our service before they decide whether to commit to a full period of Premium Membership. However, all these trials do revert to the standard Premium Membership prices when the trial ends. All this is made very clear in our terms and conditions, at the point of payment and in the billing receipt sent to all customers.
Our customer services team always asks customers to include the whole messaging history when they write to us so that we know what our customers are talking about... not so we can tamper with those mails or misrepresent. If any details of your mail were altered, please be reassured this was an unintentional error on behalf of one of our agents.
I hope this mail goes someway to reassuring you and others reading this post. As I said, please do write to me. If there has been an error in the handling of your case I will investigate it and ensure it is corrected.

And Be2 are by far the worse site going . They take £5 off you for a month trail then you find it impossible to stop their renewal costs ! which are not cheap I can tell you £149 !
The only way to stop paying out money to them is for you to send a fax to Luxembourg with your signature " I am not joking " .
By " fax " OMG do people still use fax ?
Thousands of people getting stung and this company must be stopped .
If you google .. Be2 scams .. you will get a shock just how many people are being ripped off and they feel ashamed because they have been scammed !
can any consumer company stop them ?
I had to go to the bank and change my card . " like thousands of others " .
Stay away from Be2 ...
It was easier to end WW2 Then ending Be2
Being a online dating veteran .
I can tell you that they are alot of great free dating sites that do not take a penny off you and far better then Be2 .

I have similar story to all of you and this is a cunning, awful website that puts you internet dating for good. Be2 are treating me now with debt collectors. Any one out there who can help?

I have had the same experiance with them, and withdrew permission for them to use my Debit Card details to withdraw money. they are still strying to withdraw money from my card.
Josh Williams, their so called customer services person does not do anything to help or sort anything out, he has also threatened debt collectors, I'd like to see them try!
Time for Trading Standards/Office of Fair Trading to sort this company out!0 -

Hey Frank could you please send me the email for this CEO as i have just lost 90 pounds fro be2 even though i am supposed to be on a ten day free trial starting today. I can't believe they have taken the money already!! I now know its a scam and really could do with the email and what you said get your funds back as currently i can no longer afford rent.

I also have similar problem with this web site. They already charged me 150 pounds and want more! threatening me with debt collectors, proper scams....
