He'd been cutting down a tree. That was him. :D I was driving down the street at the back of the house a day or 2 later and saw a red suit up the big tree in the photo. He was like a monkey. :rotfl: I got a new twirly out of it though. He didn't have any choice. He killed that one good and proper.

My father-in-law (my husband is 44 btw) wouldn't let him get a chainsaw. Dh had to cut all those trees down with a £3odd bowsaw from B&Q.

my MIL bought a mini chainsaw thing for my hubby for his birthday

1st time he used it, he's there swishing over the bushes delighted and in his element.
Next I notice all the washing on the floor - he'd cut through the washing line. Then the irritating noise stops - he'd sliced through the cable, luckily we always use one of those cut-off gadgets so hubby still in tact!

stupid pressie!! She 'borrowed' it back shortly after - didn't see it again for over a year! :D

The cable on our hedge trimmer had been severed and replaced 3 times by the time we got a petrol one. :o

Just by posting on it you are subscribed!
You can keep check by clicking on 'quick links'
then on the dropdown from there you click subscribd threads, which gives you a list of all the threads you are involved in.

You can also check by going to the subforum that the thread is in, if you can remember it, you will see a little tick against the thread you are subscribd to, but thats only any good if the thread is still on the first page.

Its much easier if you do the 'quick links'

    HTH !
