    Good morning!

Thanks for the kind comments on my hair yesterday. I feel great, it looks good & it was lovely & pampering :D I've already washed & blow dried it. I decided to forgo my usual early half hour on the computer to get it done  :rotfl:

I have already washed all the ornaments from the living room as it's the Flylady room today. Other plans are to wash the windows upstairs and do some ironing.

Breakfast was pancakes, lunch is lentil pate & toast and tea tonight is chicken curry as everyone wanted sandwiches last night!

Have a good day all & hugs where needed xx

    p. Last time I spoke to them they has pulled off for a rest and to try and work out how to get round the mess of the closed raod at Scotch Corner.

I got round that by coming off at Skeeby turn off and then round the villages for only about 2 or 3 miles and back on after Scotch Corner.

Morning everyone - another of my intermittent posts though I do read every day and enjoy the windows to your worlds.

Raining in Newcastle and at least the snow will get washed away today.

Have got a gammon cooking away and will be eating that for most of the remainder of the week as it's a biggy. Apart from that we're eating out of the frreezer as it's not possible to get anymore in it.

I cleared out the kitchen cupboards the other day and, at last, made space from the clutter in there. Found that I was buying new stuff as I couldn't find the packets bought last time, now got 4 packets of cinamon, 3 of baking powder and 2 of cream of tartar!

Hope that everyone is doing well, and for those who are struggling I hope that things get better for you soon.

Morning everyone. I've had a terrible night's sleep due to my neighbour's gate blowing in the wind and hitting the side of the house. Today I have another 12 hour shift to do followed by a comittee meeting for the local agricultural society...I am their new treasurer. Tea won't be till I get in which is likely to be getting on for 10pm!!!! I'll have to grab a snack when I nip home to get changed. Its going to be a long day but luckily I have some lovely home made goodies to keep me going!

Hope everyone has a good day x

Good Morning everyone ,well looking out of my window I see its blowing a hooley outside at the moment very damp looking although its not raining just yet.
I have been bashing away this morning at my wooden unit and have got all of the sleves out of the way and some of the casing, but it was well built and when my brother bless him screwed it altogether he meant for it to stay put so its a case of brute strength,a hammer and screwdriver and downright cussedness which will get it apart. My pal June is coming for a couple of days and she is very much like me (won't let anything beat her). as her husband is away down in the Falklands for several days on business. So we are going to have another go at clearing this room and my other spare room.
Hope everyone has a good day and my thoughts and prayers are with you anguk and anyone else who is going through a tough time at the moment, trust me the sun will come out again and things will look so different then
    Cheers everybody

    Morning

So, todays the day, off out when OH finishs work to buy a new hoover. No more "soft shoe shuffles" across the carpet for me, or dog hair everywhere, or extra "fibre" in food!! Can you tell I'm excited??:j

Still managing without the microwave though. TBH, I'm not missing it at the moment. OH says we'll probably miss it more in the summer, dont know why as i've never yet put our salad in it!!

Hester - Doctors are very frustrating are'nt they? OH suffers with Tinitus, and when he goes to the doc's for a check up for his thyroid and mentions that its getting worse he's told he will have to learn to live with it!!

anguk - So pleased that you visited OH. Maybe knowing that you were there with give him more strength to fight. In my thoughts and prayers that he will recover

(((Hugs))) MSD and Lowesy - and anyone else in need of one
